you are so amazing. this tutorial helped so much. Thank you for your wonderful attitude. You seem like you dont ever have any bad days when i see this video. It was amazing. I hope to see more of your videos because you sure make my day.
Thankyou....I finally get it. It suddenly clicked. I have just made do with the 3 ametuer quilts I have made but now I can take this new skill and get a better finish....thankyou
She is great. First time I quilted (about 4 yrs. Ago) it was with a teacher. She directed us to Ms. Burns' book Quilt in a Day on a Log Cabin Quilt. Ever since, she is my mentor. I have many of her books and try to find the companion DVDs. She simplifies the most difficult tasks. Thank you Ms. Burns.
This is by far the best way to do bindings. I was so confused about binding. I made my first quilt and was ready to quit until I saw this on PBS. I was able to finish the quilt because of her tutorial. Now that I'm making my 2nd quilt, I've forgotten how to do it and found this video with the same lady and tut. Thank you so much for making my quilting life less stressful.
I just love watching her, not only are her videos educational, but entertaining as well, she just cracks me up the way that she just get rid of her scraps.
I do wish that she had more videos here on youtube.
Finally an excellent video to show how to a mitered corner - other videos on YouTube only take you part way - this is COMPLETE. Thank you, thank you. Now I have to go make a few mitered corners - before I have to view this again. :)
Thank you! love the you say it's ok to do on machine and how. Something most quilt teachers i've seen tend to try and steer away from. These videos really give me the confidence to go do it myself. Hopefully with less unpicking!!
Thanks for sharing... I was having a hard time figuring this out by looking at pictures in a book.... I'll be on the look out for more videos from you.... Thanks a million !!!
Wow, she does a terrific job of explaining everything and showing all her work, from the details of what she's doing, to what it looks like at the end. Thank you for posting this!

Alas this skips the critical part where you join the ends of the binding! That is the hard part!

@Westernwilson Marci Baker from Alicia's Attic has a great video here on YT about joining the binding ends.
