Chuck Baldwin is not a Christian. How can a "preacher" think that "Christians" would support a war? They dont. The problem is Chuck, your blinded by a silly conservative/secular culture that brainwashes false "Christians". Explain to me how ANYONE who is born again would support ANY kind of war? You fools need to go back to the rock before attacking Christ's church! What part of "Thou Shalt Not Kill" dont you understand? You need to give your life to the Lord and let go of this secular crap.
@psycofloyd you have no idea what you are talking about. The type of war theory that Paul and Baldwin support it the Christian theory of a just war. Only defensive in nature. So in your opinion if there were 100 million Chinese invading California we are just supposed to let them roll right in and Kill all of us?
Ron Paul wanted to cut all funding from Israel, that is the only thing that keeps this country out of God's wrath. I cannot support him due to this one thing.
@strongtowerhop I'm wondering what funding has to do with supporting Israel? You can support someone without financing them. I heard that their are more rich people in Israel per capita than any other nation, but could be wrong. Peace
@strongtowerhop Look up Ron Paul on Wikipedia and go to the part Israel (but, read ALL of the post on Ron Paul). We give more money to the Arab countries than we do to Israel. Israel has to spend $4.00 (4 times as much as the Arab countries) for every $1.00 dollar we give to ONE Arab country, in order for Israel to defend herself.
@strongtowerhop You are wrong on that. Funding has nothing to do with Gods blessing. You think God needs Americas dollars to keep his beloved Isreal safe?.. please..... RTead your bible. In the end Isteal is left alone. God himself preserves Isreal.
As Chuck Baldwin recently wrote. Christians need to burn their bibles. You clearly do not read yours.
What you and many people might not realize is, that God is not the presumed deity that sits in heaven, but is in fact God’s legal representative on Earth established in the 11th century, by treaty, the Pontificus Maximus, the Vicar of Christ, which is the Pope in Rome
I like the Constitution party, but their economic policy needs to be more libertarian, it's good they want low spending and taxes, but they're very protectionist. America needs to trade with the world, the gov't shouldn't punish that.
Yes, that is exactly what distinguishes it from a load of cum. Any other point would be ambiguous. Conception is the only place where you find a hard distinction from what was, to what is. I don't think abortion is a very ambiguous topic at all. At least not for the reasons you might think. But I would love for you to prove me wrong. Go ahead, what is ambiguous about it?
great, of the two things i don't like about ron paul baldwin proudly brings up. first of all, why the fuck does government define marriage? isn't that some religious bullshit? and also the whole life starting at conception; i don't see how that's a federal issue. i like everything else though a whole lot
It is the Federal governments duty to defend life. That's why. Ron Paul supports the DMA and the MPA because they protect states from having to recognize the gay marriage laws of another state. He wants to make it a non-federal issue.
k, it's good that marriage should be a non-federal issue and the federal government should defend life, but it makes no sense for the federal government to define a 'full living human' at conception and when it's embryo. Defining the pre-born as full humans is completely arbitrary and should be left up to more localized governments. if an embryo is a human, the why not an unfertilized ovum, or stray sperm cell, or compilation of carbon?
No, defining it as being human at any other point EXCEPT at conception is arbitrary. An unfertilized ovum and sperm are not human because they only have 23 chromosomes.
so it's the amount of chromosomes of DNA that defines a human? even though it has no awareness or consciousness and can't survive without a uterus or test tube it's still considered human over a load of cum? i dun see how that is so much clearer of a definition for human. but abortion is a very ambiguous issue, and good points can be made from all sides. that's why i don't see how it can be a federal issue
As much as I love Chuck Baldwin, honestly a vote for a conservative other than McCain is just helping Obama win the election. We must change the political system away from the two party system first before we get our Constitutional candidate in. The best way is to vote using a ranking system and to mandate that all candidates get invited to the debates. Until then to truly vote conservative principles into the White House you need to go Republican, unfortunately.
Anyone who is a true Constitutionalists and a supporter Ron Paul has my vote. I have a right to keep what I labor for. Taking a third of my earnings is what keeps me in poverty. We don't need a nanny state.
all the founding fathers were freemasons not christian fundamentalists.their god was nature gods not the big bully yahweh who threatens hellfire but animus mundi of the stoics .bloody fool do some reading of history and then give opinion .stop listening to creationist idiots who lie all the time.
read the seven seals and the masonic imagery in the green bills.
I will be voting for Chuck Baldwin on November 4, 2008. Ron Paul has returned the favor and now has endorsed Baldwin. Both good men. I wish more Americans understood what integrity, and having principles was.
its proof of how stupid human logic can be where it can ignore the oblivious. and accept the stupid "well we are smarter then all other life so there cant be anything smarter then us"
And ture this Country was found on philosophical ideas
its was also found by religion. and you cant say otherwise. look at the first few lines in the bill of rights. We are also guaranteed freedom of religion.
Nader and Baldwin are both fine Men, and a superior choice to the 2 phonies now running, As long as you are voting 3rd party you are part of the solution and not the Problem !
The WORST thing a voter can do is vote Osama Obama or Mclame as neither fraud is for changing anything.
gay marriage is not Constitutional. Sodomy was understood to be illegal in each state when the Constitution was ratified and it was never argued as some phony judges argue (including Andrew Napolitano who probably only argues the point because he's gay) that the 9th amendment ever gave gays the right to marry. Marriage by itself has a meaning in Common law which is a relation between a man and a woman. Living in California, I think it is sick that I now have to accept partner A etc
You are a homosexual or homosexual sympathizer, big deal. The fact his homosexuals are trying to cram this crap they call their lifestyle down our throghts and now when I go to get married my wife has to be called "partner B" That's crap! I'm not going to let fag rights activist forcing my marriage license to say partner a and partner b just because a couple of perverts want it that way.
Um no, I don't support abortion, my beliefs come from the Bible and the Bible forbids homosexual lifestyles and actions. And no, gays are not in love, they are just perverted.
Second of all I'm tired of those who are for gay marriage acting as if they want the government out of people's lives because they don't believe in that. Homosexuals want to shove their lifestyle in my face, that is why they want me when I get married to marry a "partner B"
I am opposed to gay 'marriage'. The concept of marriage derives from Christian heritage, and is defined under law as 'a union between one man one woman, for life, to the exclusion of all others'
That is the definition of the word, based on legal, historical and religious heritage. That definition should remain.
I 100% support granting equal financial and legal rights (except perhaps adoption) to gay couples. I 100% support 'unions'... just dont call them 'marriage'!
To a certain extend the Civil Rights movement was a movement to shove black culture down people's thoughts, more particular it was to shove liberal black culture down people's thoughts.
Gays are not black, nor are they "born that way" in fact when gays first heard that stuff being talked about they feared a lot of parents were going to abort their kids.
And gays don't have a legal or moral right to get married they are nothing but but screwing perverts that's it, not some minority group
No it's actually the truth, in my county, a man and woman recently scratched out the terms "partner A" and "partner B" and placed there "husband" and "wife" and after getting married, the county turned around and told them that their marriage application was denied for that reason. This is a county in California, so it is shoving a lifestyle down peoples thoughts. Gays have partners, straight people have husbands and wives.
This is not written in the bible. I've never read it. I don't need to read it. Reading the 10 Commandments are enough, thank you.
And the bible is written by other people, meaning priests, and pastors. The truth is God doesn't discriminate and loves gay people and this is coming from a good christian like myself.
Check out the episcopalian church they are accepting of gays.
Anyway, your arguments are a fallacy. It's just like Kurt Cobain said in one of his songs "God is gay".
You obviously know nothing about me. I am not a fucking liberal. I am actually an independent conservative and a good christian who believes in love between two people no matter who they are. The government and the bible and organized religion should STAY OUT of love. Love knows no limits.
You are not a Christian because a Christian would know better than to call homosexuality "love" because true Christians know that homosexuality as well as fornication and adultery are lust. Love is a fruit of the Spirit, Homosexuality is lust in one of it's most perverted forms. Good Christians don't cuss people out
Part 2: Brian, the book of Romans is set up in chronological order. It begins by showing the seriousness of human sin and what God thinks of it. It continues on to explain why Jesus Christ came and how He served as the substitute, paying with His perfect blood the price none of us can pay. The book of Romans begins with the sin problem and continues on to show its cure. The main point of Romans is: Jesus died in our place so that we don't have to die, if we believe on Him.
Was God telling the children of Israel to murder the gays when he told them they must not suffer a sodomite to live? Don't think of spilling the liberal Christianity on me it won't work. When Jesus comes back, gays will burn, but only because people like you allow them to pervert society so much.
Part 1: Brian, it does say that. All sin IS worthy of death, which is why God implemented the Law in the Old Testament. God hates sin because He is pure, 100% good, and perfect. However, in the New Testament (which means "new covenant") Jesus Christ came to die for everyone's sin so that if they believe on Him and accept His payment on behalf of their sin debt they can be "born again" and saved from the coming wrath. The end of Romans is a reminder of the seriousness of sin.
Brian, God's wrath won't be on my head because Jesus Christ paid for my sin and I accepted Him as my Savior. FYI: Many homosexuals have been saved by Jesus Christ out of their sin and lifestyle. You have a lot of hatred in your heart and lack understanding about the Bible. 1 John says that anyone who professes to be a Christian and has hate in his heart does not know God and deceives himself (Jesus Christ said the same). Please, take your hatred elsewhere.
Giving capital punishment to those that need it is not hate, it is love. Letting a murderer, a child molester, etc live is an act of hate. Putting them out shows you love them by helping them assure humanity that they can no longer at any time commit those gross acts against humanity.
And another point, trying to spin that whole "love" and all that as a Christian attribute when what you in fact are doing is condoning sin is a sin itself. It is an act of evil.
I'm not too into your whole religious thing, but if you keep that to yourself and don't impose it upon us, then I'll gladly vote for you in the name of the Constitution and individual liberty. =D
I'm a little puzzled about why Chuck is endorsing Ron Paul when Paul recently made statements (I heard him say it myself) that he (Paul) supports the homosexual lifestyle and homosexual marriage. Maybe Chuck no longer endorses Paul but if he doesn't, this video should be removed so it doesn't make people think he still endorses him. Something doesn't sound right here.
Ron paul doesn't support homosexual marriage or lifestyle, he just says it's non of the governments buisness and is a religious affair. Marriage shouldn't be a benefit, but a connection between two people who love eachother.
Socks, you can of course believe what you want to but I *heard* Ron Paul speaking in support of gays having the right to marry, as part of their right to do what they choose. It was on a Christian news radio program.
You don't understand what he is trying to describe, he believes the government should be out of the marriage idea all together, because it is a freedom of religion idea. That is, if you find someone who will marry you, and you want it fine. Under this, gays can get married if they want, but having no government in it also means there are no benefits and no laws existing within. Only love. Who knows what he personaly supports, and anything you believe in is your choice.
In my personal opinion, Chuck Baldwin is the only candidate who earns at least 95% out of all the other presidential candidates. McCain does not get it about the economy and Obama hates white people as well as gun owners and tax payers.
The other 3rd party candidates such as Nader, McKinney and Barr should step down and unite behind Baldwin and the Constitution Party.
With the support of Ron Paul, Jesse Ventura and others, they could all join forces and launch a massive drive to make Baldwin and the Constitution Party into the single, prominent 3rd party choice for America. That way, he might have a chance of actually winning the election.
That would be fantastic and id applaud that, but im not sure how you can ever get that to Happen without Independent thinkin people feeling as if they are being disrespected by being 'told' what to do.
Im dissapointed that Ron Paul doesnt just publicly Officially endorse BALDWIN, that alone would get a MASSIVE amount of attention to Chuck and get him a TON of votes.
I have lost alot of respect for Ron Paul because its OBVIOUS that Baldwin represents his views 100 percen, yet Ron wont
Since it is the constitutional party, where in the constitution does it say marriage is between a man and a woman? What lines say that gay marriage is unethical or even harms anyone in anyway?
lucius, when the men who drew up the Constitution put it together, they didn't see the need to add that marriage is between a man and a woman because by the very laws of nature itself it was obvious. Also, a lot of them, whether Christian or not, revered what the Bible says and the Bible speaks against all forms of homosexual relations.
So can you tell me how same-sex marriage is wrong? Can you tell me why there should be federal bans on abortion, same-sex marraige, and gambling? These are all what Chuck Baldwin believes in. How could I support a candidate who so wishes to defile our constitution?
The bible says many great things, but since it says that homosexuality is not right, should we also take in that disobediance should be punished with stoning?
lucius, you jump to too many conclusions and extremes here. Just because Christians follow the Bible and believe that homosexuality is wrong, doesn't mean they condone "stoning" people for disobedience. God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for all of our sin so that we can now be forgiven instead of being condemned. But in order to be saved one has to agree with God that what He calls sin is wrong and accept His change of heart. Abortion is murder and God's law is against murder.
Even in the New Testament church, putting the sodomites to death was the rule. Christians in their phoniness have moved away from that. Romans chapter one specifically condemns homosexual including lesbian behavior and at the very last verse, makes it clear that these people and their sympathizers are worthy of death.
You are wrong. There was no "rule" of putting homosexuals to death in the New Testament church at any time. Please quote New Testament scripture to back your claims. All SIN is condemned in the Bible, not just in Romans chapter 1. Read Romans 2, which lists a lot of sins that are just as unacceptable to God. People with erroneous beliefs like yours make Christians look like a bunch of hateful idiots. I suggest you familiarize yourself with Scripture before making such accusations.
the last verse in Romans chapter one implies that all the sins that Paul mentioned in that chapter including homosexuality and sympathy to that behavior makes one who knows the judgments of God worthy of death. Not that you are going to take that scripture literally because most Christians today are phony and feel God's word is subject to whatever interpretation they want to give it
There is a rule, it is found in Romans Chapter 1, last verse, which is why for centuries Christians put homosexuals to death. Second of all, while getting stoned for gathering sticks and such was not implemented after Jesus came, the rule to administer capital punishment on practicing homosexuals was continued, again, according to Romans chapter 1 last verse.
God expected this of Christianity because he knew that to allow such a perversion would pollute society
Brian, I'm not sure what "Christians" you are speaking of. Maybe the Church of Rome, for a time? The test of a REAL Christian is someone who believes on Jesus Christ (John 3:16) for the forgiveness of his/her sin and who then, after being saved, believes and practices what God has said in the Bible. I am a Christian and I do not stone homosexuals; neither do I condone such an ungodly practice. Since Jesus died and rose again, the grace of God has become available to all who will believe.
Read Romans chapter 1, don't preach to me your phony Christianity. Approving of homosexual behavior or allowing it, is the same as participating in it. Read the last verse you keep ignoring. No I'm not interested in how you interpret it.
Brian, the reason why some people who *thought* they were "Christians" may have put homosexuals to death is because of their hatred and lack of understanding of the grace of God. After Jesus paid for all sin, God never stated that homosexuals are to be killed. Sin is sin to God. Your hatred is a sin. In God's eyes you are no better than a practicing homosexual. In God's eyes you are also worthy of death, which is why you too need Jesus Christ as your Savior.
Christians, real Christians put homosexuals to death in the past because they were not tainted by the homosexual society that we have today. You may think you are a Christian, but you are a sodomite. Not everyone in Sodom was a homosexual, but all but Lot and his daughters were destroyed.
Ignore the Bible as you will, sugarcoating the Bible on the homosexual issue will not make you right, it will only make you more accepting of perverted behavior
There should be a federal ban on abortion because it is taking the right of life away from an unborn child. Natural Law Theory, we are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights and life is one of those. The Federal Government has an obligation in that sense to see that the states are conforming to that law, even if it is not written, it is implied in the 9th amendment because it was a right fought for during the Revolution
The Constitution doesn't have to say that marriage is between a man and a woman, because when the Constitution was drafted, Common Law was understood and sodomy was already outlawed in every state
Mccain is not a conservative, he is an Internationalist Moderate Liberal Phony. I wont be voting for Mccain or Obama because speaking as an Independent Principled Constitutional Conservative, NEITHER phony has earned my Vote.
No more 'lesser of 2 evils' utter asinine Nonsense, i need my conscience to be clear and sleep soundly at Night. Its time to really 'step out of the box' and Vote 3rd Party and make my vote REALLY count.
Im voting on Heart, conscience and princples, BALDWIN 08
If you vote for any third party candidate that has no chance of winning the election, you will give your vote to Obama, even unintentionally. How do you feel about that?
i feel great because i'll be giving my vote to the best candidate with the best principles who is interested in all of us and in freedom. and gays have every right to live the way they do and marriage is a scam anyway so why not let them live in hell as well
Krisza, you think marriage is like "living in hell"? That's not a very nice thing to wish on gay people. Christians don't wish gay people to "live in hell." In fact, marriage is very wonderful thing for many. It's sad that you don't agree. And great that you are voting for the person you feel is the "best candidate" because that's what a Democratic Republic is all about and part of what makes America such a wonderful country. :)
Actually I'd feel pretty damn good to voice my own opinion rather than just go along with everyone else. I vote FOR candidates, not AGAINST them. What a concept!
why hasnt ron paul officially endorsed BALDWIN ? It has made me lose a little respect for Ron, its obvious that Baldwin by far represents his views more than any other candidate in this race.
I think it was rather cowardly for Ron to stay silent and Not make it public who he will be voting for and who he endorses
I totally disagree with your premise and believe it is illogical, Ridiculous and utterly Asinine to feel that Obama and Mccain are our Kings and we must all get in line and bow to them and serve them
I never made or voted them Kings did you ? why not have the freedom and honesty to make a better choice, i thought that was what america was all about
You sound like a true intellectual coward by your question, have you no courage and principles to make a better choice ? think
I will not sacrifice my Principles and Literally throw them in the Garbage in the voting booth, with the only reason being scared of Obama.
Of course Mccain is better than Obama, but in my Opinion not by alot. Bottom Line both men are Liberals, Mccain a Moderate and Obama a radical liberal.
I would NEVER vote for Obama, but im not at all impressed by Mccain. If the ONLY reason to vote for Mccain is fear of Obama, than that reason is pathetically weak and totally Lacks Principle.
there is no way Ron Paul would have voted against gay marriage..he even admits that his personal religion shouldn't have anything to do with other peoples lives..this guy is smart for supporting ron paul, but he lets his religion make him a hypocrite..how is that true freedom and true liberty if ur not allowed the same rights as everyone else?gay or not?all that is, is liberty according to personal opinion, not liberty in its definition...we should have true, pure, LIBERTY..NOT christian liberty
why do these people want to alter the constitution so much for conservative values then run on a policy of "maintaining the original constitution". And Ron Paul does not think it should be federal or state law for gays to be or not be married, he's said repietedly that it should be up to the churches they choose to get married at.
The Constitution party being labelled a conservative in the same lines as the current two party system which cannot be distinguished between,is a misconception of identity,or lack of wisdom thereof.
The Constitution principles are a reliance to the embodiment of the Constitution and not by interpretation of an opinion, which was so by the Judicial court in Row vs. Wade,it was not delegated by authority of the document.
Pastor Chuck is a great guy. However, I think that his anti-abortion position goes a bit too far. Even if a female is impregnated by a rapist thug criminal and even if the female had been a young teenage virgin or older and happily married, according to Pastor Baldwin, the victim of rape must bear her rapist's baby. That really sucks! Other than that, I agree with almost everything Pastor Baldwin advocates.
well that's where religion makes people close-minded...religion almost always makes people go too far with things, because they are following their religion, and not their minds..if he was following his mind, he'd realize that there are gray areas, and not just black and white...but he's not using his mind, he's using external guidelines for his mind...people misuse religion so much and even abuse it...it's ashame...it can be a good thing, but people take it too far
It's obvious that most people making such comments don't know the truth about the U.S history. If anything has been hijacked by socialist thinking has been the U.S in the last 50 years.
George Washington our first president in his farewell address states-"reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle".
But I guess to many his intention is not clear enough when ignored as the truth.
I'd say thats rhetorical, principles are the foundation of those actions.otherwise there is nothing to be done, and the current system that's what has happened,an ironic answer isn't it? a verb for a lack of action.
i like chuck baldwin more then Barr because he is a pastor ( better in goodness) but for some strange reason if baldwin and Barr does not become ally i feel they will absolutely lose the presidency. I haven't yet seen a stradgey executed out there yet!
ghendric: "Its all about control... Mankind has used "God" to control peoples lives for centuries."
1:
SO VERY, VERY TRUE!
If you & others wish to learn the TRUTH, buy yourself copies of Matthew Books thru' matthewbooks . com - they are inexpensive & so extremely informative. EVERYTHING in these 4 most precious (to me at least) books, resonated with every fibre of my being/soul from the 1st moment that I opened them!
You can also read Matthew's monthly messages on the same site. :)
This for me IS the TRUTH. They'll help you to become acquainted with our real God & not the BOGUS, misconstrued 1 in the Bible - & the same with Jesus & even our ET FRIENDS - EVERYTHING you've probably, like me, ever questioned is mentioned. TRULY AWESOME STUFF! :)
No! I don't earn a cent promoting these books either - I do that thru' the LOVE of SHARING that which is HONEST & GOOD with others who may also be seeking the real TRUTH.
I can't blame Chuck for his beliefs, originally based on calculated lies, but I'm entitled to do so for his EXTREMELY non-Christian views on Homosexuality & abortion.
The only thing is that Bob Barr is a neocon in disguise. He is also endorsed by McCain, which raises my suspicions about him. I don't know... I'm just campaigning for liberty now.
Bullshit. He's been trying to end it. I've been arguing with you guys for a month ,or two about your Barr attacks. Please don't destroy small 3rd parties, our enemy is the status quo. No one is as perfect as RP(Not even Baldwin and Barr). I'm just trying to get rid of McBama.
REAL God is totally NON-JUDGEMENTAL & would never criticise a single child of His, NEVER! However, the god the bible & many religions, esp. Christian, totally miscronstrued INTENTIONALLY & often fabricated throughout the bible (i.e. much written is NOT about our real God, but the one they wanted the people to believe in so that they, the church, could have control using FEAR!) is capable of anything evil, that wouldn't surprise me at all, so maybe this 'man-made' god did judge gay people.
I guess your god is whoever you think him to be. GOD is incomprehensible. And if GOD did not Reserve the right to judge, then how would there be Justice? I would rather GOD judge man, than another man. I only judge a man's action. Faggots should die...
aminchang: You're sick - you need a good doctor - MAYBE RON PAUL?
Good luck with your god & more good luck when you learn the real reason behind your hatred towards certain people during this particular life time. That's going to shock you & millions of others who learn the reasons behind theirs too. :)
Let's leave this now, we're clearly on different pages (not the bible!) THANK THE REAL GOD for that too! :)
I didn't say I hate faggots. I said they should die. What god you worship, you'll be a hypocrite to it just like the other worshippers of their gods. You judged me. Idiocy...
aminchang: Did I refer to MYSELF as GOD, any god for that matter? I'm a mere mortal living a 3rd density existence - of course I'm inclined to being judgemental, but not HATRED & certainly not wishing another and/or others dead either. How sad of anyone to go thru' life carrying such a burden. :(
aminchang: If this is any example of how Chuck's supporters even dare to think, let alone believe, then GOD HELP TO SAVE AMERICA when BLESSING her please!!!
RON PAUL FOR LIFE & LIVING in PEACE & with INTEGRITY & FREEDOM! :)
Its all about control... Mankind has used "God" to control peoples lives for centuries. I don't know what God is but it sure isn't the mainstream crap we have today..
Chuck is definitely endorsing THE RIGHT MAN here - RON PAUL - but hopefully, yet I have my suspicions, doing so only for his OWN, GREEDY NEED!
I don't trust CHUCK BALDWIN one little bit, and he's the furtherest from being a TRUE CHRISTIAN than MOST that I've encountered, & trust me, that amounts to A LOT OF HYPOCRITES!!!
"while conservatives and libertarians agree that there should be less government, but when it comes to changing things libertarians are revolutionary and conservatives are well, just conservative"
Jazz, I'd have to agree with you. Baldwin will be on the ballot in 37 states like he was in 2004 and get 143,630 votes again - 0.12%.
Bob Barr will be on the ballot in all 50 states most likely and is polling at 3% nationwide.
Plus, the new Libertarian's party platform doesn't scare off 99.9% of the voters like the Constitution Party Platform which Baldwin has VP and P for the party could have made less religious zealous. The choice seems obvious. Barr 2008.
we need more people voting for third parties we have to end the two party rule. we cant keep jsut two parties. vote for any one but mccain but vote for the third party so obama does not have a mandate
Chuck Baldwin says that a (CFR) McCain win would be worse than a (CFR) Obama win. Let's all vote for Obama and cripple the Republican Party so we can take it over and rebuild it. Then we can make some real changes in Washington, D.C.
I hate to vote for Obama bin Laden but it makes sense in order to defeat that warmonger McCain.
Now sing with me to the tune of "Cocaine" by Eric Clapton....
"He's all lies, he's all lies, he's all lies...... McCain"
Alansready. Why not clinch the election against McCain and landslide a victory for Obama? Bob Barr isn't going to win and won't get any news coverage anyway. It's a noble thing to vote for principle but it is not very strategic. We need to make sure the GOP (Republican Party) gets a slap in the face and splinters into pieces. Then we can rebuild the Party with a Ron Paul mindset.
Obama is supporting the FISA bill. Glen Greenwald from Salon explains why the FISA bill is still so bad, and why we should not ignore the fact that he's soft peddling it. He claims he'll take the telecom immunity out of the bill later, but the bill is even much worse than that. Check it out.
I will vote for Nader or Barr. I know they are totally different, but I'm not voting for a traitor.
"I, for one, am fed up with this baloney, because what we are actually faced with is not the "lesser of two evils" but "the evil of two lessers." And the reason John McCain would actually be a worse President than either Obama or Clinton is because of the manner in which conservatives go to sleep whenever a Republican occupies the Oval Office. Furthermore, the next couple of years are "crunch time" for this burgeoning North American Union and related issues."
Paul opposes all federal efforts to redefine marriage, whether defined as a union between one man and one woman, or defined as including same sex. He believes that recognizing or legislating marriages should be left to the states, and not subjected to judicial activism.
It would be nice to coalesce around the same candidate so he could get a chance at being in the debates -- where the message could be broadcast to those who have not yet heard it. If we're spread all over the place, between different candidates and write-ins, I don't see that happening.
So far I see the LP as having the best ballot access and the most media attention, but I could change my mind.
If you're going to "write-in" Dr. Paul, make sure he's counted in your state. Most, states WILL NOT count write-ins unless fees (usually in the tens of thousands of dollars) are payed. Fund raise, petition, etc. or a write-in becomes as good as sitting at home.
The route of the "write-in" can be very fruitless; it's usually easier to find out how many signatures are required for an independent candidate to be put on the ballot, and get those signatures.
Yes because RP said that if "they" can rig a convention just imagine what they will do with your vote.
My guess is they will use it as a McInsane vote ..& NONE of us want that .. ANYONE else but McCain & Obamba..but lets all vote for the same person, what if RP is a vice for one or the other

Go ahead, what is ambiguous about it?
rowandy85 3 years ago
great, of the two things i don't like about ron paul baldwin proudly brings up. first of all, why the fuck does government define marriage? isn't that some religious bullshit? and also the whole life starting at conception; i don't see how that's a federal issue. i like everything else though a whole lot
intercourseman69 3 years ago 2
It is the Federal governments duty to defend life. That's why. Ron Paul supports the DMA and the MPA because they protect states from having to recognize the gay marriage laws of another state. He wants to make it a non-federal issue.
rowandy85 3 years ago
k, it's good that marriage should be a non-federal issue and the federal government should defend life, but it makes no sense for the federal government to define a 'full living human' at conception and when it's embryo. Defining the pre-born as full humans is completely arbitrary and should be left up to more localized governments. if an embryo is a human, the why not an unfertilized ovum, or stray sperm cell, or compilation of carbon?
intercourseman69 3 years ago
No, defining it as being human at any other point EXCEPT at conception is arbitrary. An unfertilized ovum and sperm are not human because they only have 23 chromosomes.
rowandy85 3 years ago
so it's the amount of chromosomes of DNA that defines a human? even though it has no awareness or consciousness and can't survive without a uterus or test tube it's still considered human over a load of cum? i dun see how that is so much clearer of a definition for human. but abortion is a very ambiguous issue, and good points can be made from all sides. that's why i don't see how it can be a federal issue

God doesn't discriminate. I'll just quote Kurt Cobain "God is gay."
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
What the hell is the matter with Chuck Baldwin? This guy opposes gay marriage just like McCain, Obama and others.
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
gay marriage is not Constitutional.
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
You are a homophobe just like Obama and Chuck Baldwin.
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
You are a homosexual or homosexual sympathizer, big deal. The fact his homosexuals are trying to cram this crap they call their lifestyle down our throghts and now when I go to get married my wife has to be called "partner B" That's crap! I'm not going to let fag rights activist forcing my marriage license to say partner a and partner b just because a couple of perverts want it that way.
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
I bet you are one of those who supports abortion and murder of innocent babies?
ANYBODY has a right to get married. Government needs to stay out of love.
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
Um no, I don't support abortion, my beliefs come from the Bible and the Bible forbids homosexual lifestyles and actions. And no, gays are not in love, they are just perverted.
Second of all I'm tired of those who are for gay marriage acting as if they want the government out of people's lives because they don't believe in that. Homosexuals want to shove their lifestyle in my face, that is why they want me when I get married to marry a "partner B"
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
were blacks fighting for equal rights alongside martin luther king just trying to shove their culture down your throats?
your argument that 'gay marriage should not be legal'.... because .... 'gays are trying to shove their culture down my throat' - is idiotic.
I am actually opposed to gay marriage... but my reasons actually make sense!
Champ1on 3 years ago
Champ1on, you are the same as him. You are opposed to gay marriage for some personal agenda. And you didn't state the reasons.
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
ParniValjak25
I am opposed to gay 'marriage'. The concept of marriage derives from Christian heritage, and is defined under law as 'a union between one man one woman, for life, to the exclusion of all others'
That is the definition of the word, based on legal, historical and religious heritage. That definition should remain.
I 100% support granting equal financial and legal rights (except perhaps adoption) to gay couples. I 100% support 'unions'... just dont call them 'marriage'!
Champ1on 3 years ago
To a certain extend the Civil Rights movement was a movement to shove black culture down people's thoughts, more particular it was to shove liberal black culture down people's thoughts.
Gays are not black, nor are they "born that way" in fact when gays first heard that stuff being talked about they feared a lot of parents were going to abort their kids.
And gays don't have a legal or moral right to get married they are nothing but but screwing perverts that's it, not some minority group
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
No it's actually the truth, in my county, a man and woman recently scratched out the terms "partner A" and "partner B" and placed there "husband" and "wife" and after getting married, the county turned around and told them that their marriage application was denied for that reason. This is a county in California, so it is shoving a lifestyle down peoples thoughts. Gays have partners, straight people have husbands and wives.
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
Have you even read the bible? Where does it say that gay is forbidden? WHERE? God doesn not discriminate. And two people in love is not perverted.
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
ParniValjak25
"Where does the Bible say that gay is forbidden?"
I am not one to use religious arguments when discussing social issues.
But since you asked, the Bible condemns homosexuality very clearly:
Lev 18:22-23 "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."
Lev 20:13
1 Cor 6:9
1 Tim 1:9-10
Rom 1:26-27
...And then theres Sodom and Gommorah
Champ1on 3 years ago
This is not written in the bible. I've never read it. I don't need to read it. Reading the 10 Commandments are enough, thank you.
And the bible is written by other people, meaning priests, and pastors. The truth is God doesn't discriminate and loves gay people and this is coming from a good christian like myself.
Check out the episcopalian church they are accepting of gays.
Anyway, your arguments are a fallacy. It's just like Kurt Cobain said in one of his songs "God is gay".
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
lol i suggest you reread your last comment:
"This is not written in the bible. I've never read it. I don't need to read it."
you went from saying "its not written" to "i know its written but I refuse to read it"
putting your head in the sand, or reading one sentence then ignoring the next, is not a valid understanding of Christianity
God equates homosexuality with other sins like adultery. god DOES discriminate against sin - whether it be either of the above
if im wrong, show me!
Champ1on 3 years ago
Romans chapter 1, as it reads not as liberals ignore it. Just ask Obama, because he will tell you it is there, just that it is "obscure"
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
You obviously know nothing about me. I am not a fucking liberal. I am actually an independent conservative and a good christian who believes in love between two people no matter who they are. The government and the bible and organized religion should STAY OUT of love. Love knows no limits.
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
You are not a Christian because a Christian would know better than to call homosexuality "love" because true Christians know that homosexuality as well as fornication and adultery are lust. Love is a fruit of the Spirit, Homosexuality is lust in one of it's most perverted forms. Good Christians don't cuss people out
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
Part 2: Brian, the book of Romans is set up in chronological order. It begins by showing the seriousness of human sin and what God thinks of it. It continues on to explain why Jesus Christ came and how He served as the substitute, paying with His perfect blood the price none of us can pay. The book of Romans begins with the sin problem and continues on to show its cure. The main point of Romans is: Jesus died in our place so that we don't have to die, if we believe on Him.
CautiousSaint 3 years ago
You seem more like a liberal trying to put everyone into groups, completely oblivious to individual differences.
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
And why do you promote murder and death to gays? Murder is murder and that is the ONLY law worth having. The law agaist murder.
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
Was God telling the children of Israel to murder the gays when he told them they must not suffer a sodomite to live? Don't think of spilling the liberal Christianity on me it won't work. When Jesus comes back, gays will burn, but only because people like you allow them to pervert society so much.
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
Part 1: Brian, it does say that. All sin IS worthy of death, which is why God implemented the Law in the Old Testament. God hates sin because He is pure, 100% good, and perfect. However, in the New Testament (which means "new covenant") Jesus Christ came to die for everyone's sin so that if they believe on Him and accept His payment on behalf of their sin debt they can be "born again" and saved from the coming wrath. The end of Romans is a reminder of the seriousness of sin.
CautiousSaint 3 years ago
BrianTerrill, you are a liberal piece of shit. Fuck you and your liberalism.
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
Also, just remember a Kurt Cobain song where he sings "God is gay". That pretty much dissolves your argument.
ParniValjak25 3 years ago
Romans chapter 1 and if you ignore it, God's wrath be on your head not mine
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
Brian, God's wrath won't be on my head because Jesus Christ paid for my sin and I accepted Him as my Savior. FYI: Many homosexuals have been saved by Jesus Christ out of their sin and lifestyle. You have a lot of hatred in your heart and lack understanding about the Bible. 1 John says that anyone who professes to be a Christian and has hate in his heart does not know God and deceives himself (Jesus Christ said the same). Please, take your hatred elsewhere.
CautiousSaint 3 years ago
There you go again, ignoring parts of the Bible that you don't want to hear about, you are in so much trouble if you don't repent.
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
Giving capital punishment to those that need it is not hate, it is love. Letting a murderer, a child molester, etc live is an act of hate. Putting them out shows you love them by helping them assure humanity that they can no longer at any time commit those gross acts against humanity.
And another point, trying to spin that whole "love" and all that as a Christian attribute when what you in fact are doing is condoning sin is a sin itself. It is an act of evil.

CautiousSaint 3 years ago
Ron paul doesn't support homosexual marriage or lifestyle, he just says it's non of the governments buisness and is a religious affair. Marriage shouldn't be a benefit, but a connection between two people who love eachother.
PairoftheSocks 3 years ago
Socks, you can of course believe what you want to but I *heard* Ron Paul speaking in support of gays having the right to marry, as part of their right to do what they choose. It was on a Christian news radio program.
CautiousSaint 3 years ago
You don't understand what he is trying to describe, he believes the government should be out of the marriage idea all together, because it is a freedom of religion idea. That is, if you find someone who will marry you, and you want it fine. Under this, gays can get married if they want, but having no government in it also means there are no benefits and no laws existing within. Only love. Who knows what he personaly supports, and anything you believe in is your choice.
PairoftheSocks 3 years ago
In my personal opinion, Chuck Baldwin is the only candidate who earns at least 95% out of all the other presidential candidates. McCain does not get it about the economy and Obama hates white people as well as gun owners and tax payers.
jmkpns 3 years ago
The other 3rd party candidates such as Nader, McKinney and Barr should step down and unite behind Baldwin and the Constitution Party.
With the support of Ron Paul, Jesse Ventura and others, they could all join forces and launch a massive drive to make Baldwin and the Constitution Party into the single, prominent 3rd party choice for America. That way, he might have a chance of actually winning the election.
Symian27 3 years ago
That would be fantastic and id applaud that, but im not sure how you can ever get that to Happen without Independent thinkin people feeling as if they are being disrespected by being 'told' what to do.

2connection 3 years ago
Since it is the constitutional party, where in the constitution does it say marriage is between a man and a woman? What lines say that gay marriage is unethical or even harms anyone in anyway?
luciusETRUR 3 years ago
Ditto.
fephisto 3 years ago
lucius, when the men who drew up the Constitution put it together, they didn't see the need to add that marriage is between a man and a woman because by the very laws of nature itself it was obvious. Also, a lot of them, whether Christian or not, revered what the Bible says and the Bible speaks against all forms of homosexual relations.
CautiousSaint 3 years ago
So can you tell me how same-sex marriage is wrong? Can you tell me why there should be federal bans on abortion, same-sex marraige, and gambling? These are all what Chuck Baldwin believes in. How could I support a candidate who so wishes to defile our constitution?
The bible says many great things, but since it says that homosexuality is not right, should we also take in that disobediance should be punished with stoning?
luciusETRUR 3 years ago
lucius, you jump to too many conclusions and extremes here.
CautiousSaint 3 years ago
Even in the New Testament church, putting the sodomites to death was the rule. Christians in their phoniness have moved away from that. Romans chapter one specifically condemns homosexual including lesbian behavior and at the very last verse, makes it clear that these people and their sympathizers are worthy of death.
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
You are wrong. There was no "rule" of putting homosexuals to death in the New Testament church at any time. Please quote New Testament scripture to back your claims. All SIN is condemned in the Bible, not just in Romans chapter 1. Read Romans 2, which lists a lot of sins that are just as unacceptable to God. People with erroneous beliefs like yours make Christians look like a bunch of hateful idiots. I suggest you familiarize yourself with Scripture before making such accusations.
CautiousSaint 3 years ago
the last verse in Romans chapter one implies that all the sins that Paul mentioned in that chapter including homosexuality and sympathy to that behavior makes one who knows the judgments of God worthy of death. Not that you are going to take that scripture literally because most Christians today are phony and feel God's word is subject to whatever interpretation they want to give it
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
There is a rule, it is found in Romans Chapter 1, last verse, which is why for centuries Christians put homosexuals to death. Second of all, while getting stoned for gathering sticks and such was not implemented after Jesus came, the rule to administer capital punishment on practicing homosexuals was continued, again, according to Romans chapter 1 last verse.
God expected this of Christianity because he knew that to allow such a perversion would pollute society
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
Brian, I'm not sure what "Christians" you are speaking of. Maybe the Church of Rome, for a time? The test of a REAL Christian is someone who believes on Jesus Christ (John 3:16) for the forgiveness of his/her sin and who then, after being saved, believes and practices what God has said in the Bible. I am a Christian and I do not stone homosexuals; neither do I condone such an ungodly practice. Since Jesus died and rose again, the grace of God has become available to all who will believe.
CautiousSaint 3 years ago
Read Romans chapter 1, don't preach to me your phony Christianity. Approving of homosexual behavior or allowing it, is the same as participating in it. Read the last verse you keep ignoring. No I'm not interested in how you interpret it.
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
Brian, the reason why some people who *thought* they were "Christians" may have put homosexuals to death is because of their hatred and lack of understanding of the grace of God. After Jesus paid for all sin, God never stated that homosexuals are to be killed. Sin is sin to God. Your hatred is a sin. In God's eyes you are no better than a practicing homosexual. In God's eyes you are also worthy of death, which is why you too need Jesus Christ as your Savior.
CautiousSaint 3 years ago
Christians, real Christians put homosexuals to death in the past because they were not tainted by the homosexual society that we have today. You may think you are a Christian, but you are a sodomite. Not everyone in Sodom was a homosexual, but all but Lot and his daughters were destroyed.
Ignore the Bible as you will, sugarcoating the Bible on the homosexual issue will not make you right, it will only make you more accepting of perverted behavior
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
There should be a federal ban on abortion because it is taking the right of life away from an unborn child. Natural Law Theory, we are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights and life is one of those. The Federal Government has an obligation in that sense to see that the states are conforming to that law, even if it is not written, it is implied in the 9th amendment because it was a right fought for during the Revolution
BrianTerrill 3 years ago
The Constitution doesn't have to say that marriage is between a man and a woman, because when the Constitution was drafted, Common Law was understood and sodomy was already outlawed in every state

There is a big difference between principles and actions.
mr1singer 3 years ago
I'd say thats rhetorical, principles are the foundation of those actions.otherwise there is nothing to be done, and the current system that's what has happened,an ironic answer isn't it? a verb for a lack of action.

i like chuck baldwin more then Barr because he is a pastor ( better in goodness) but for some strange reason if baldwin and Barr does not become ally i feel they will absolutely lose the presidency. I haven't yet seen a stradgey executed out there yet!

Who would want to support a man, hiding behind the FALSE PRETENCES OF BEING A CHRISTIAN?
Have you ever heard or read a single word of his FOUL MOUTH & DEROGATORY COMMENTS on certain sectors of the HUMAN RACE - namely GAY PEOPLE?
I am not gay myself, but have EMPATHY in my sincere CHRISTED heart for EVERYONE, no matter their colour, creed, sexual preference etc.
CHRIST'S lesson was:
a) NEVER ALLOW ANYONE TO STAND BETWEEN YOU & GOD!
b) NEVER JUDGE ANY OTHER!
SADLY, Chuck IGNORES BOTH!
annie46664 3 years ago
Chuck didn't judge the faggots, GOD did.
aminchang 3 years ago
REAL God is totally NON-JUDGEMENTAL & would never criticise a single child of His, NEVER! However, the god the bible & many religions, esp. Christian, totally miscronstrued INTENTIONALLY & often fabricated throughout the bible (i.e. much written is NOT about our real God, but the one they wanted the people to believe in so that they, the church, could have control using FEAR!) is capable of anything evil, that wouldn't surprise me at all, so maybe this 'man-made' god did judge gay people.
annie46664 3 years ago
I guess your god is whoever you think him to be. GOD is incomprehensible. And if GOD did not Reserve the right to judge, then how would there be Justice? I would rather GOD judge man, than another man. I only judge a man's action. Faggots should die...

annie46664 3 years ago
I didn't say I hate faggots. I said they should die. What god you worship, you'll be a hypocrite to it just like the other worshippers of their gods. You judged me. Idiocy...
aminchang 3 years ago
aminchang: Did I refer to MYSELF as GOD, any god for that matter? I'm a mere mortal living a 3rd density existence - of course I'm inclined to being judgemental, but not HATRED & certainly not wishing another and/or others dead either. How sad of anyone to go thru' life carrying such a burden. :(
Enough now!

I like Chuck Baldwin but he can't get on the ballots...I have to support Bob Barr for the best chance to get a third party up the political ladder.
jazzloversinc 3 years ago 2
Jazz, I'd have to agree with you. Baldwin will be on the ballot in 37 states like he was in 2004 and get 143,630 votes again - 0.12%.
Bob Barr will be on the ballot in all 50 states most likely and is polling at 3% nationwide.
Plus, the new Libertarian's party platform doesn't scare off 99.9% of the voters like the Constitution Party Platform which Baldwin has VP and P for the party could have made less religious zealous. The choice seems obvious. Barr 2008.

we need more people voting for third parties we have to end the two party rule. we cant keep jsut two parties. vote for any one but mccain but vote for the third party so obama does not have a mandate
alansready 3 years ago
Fellow Ron Paul supporters:
Chuck Baldwin says that a (CFR) McCain win would be worse than a (CFR) Obama win. Let's all vote for Obama and cripple the Republican Party so we can take it over and rebuild it. Then we can make some real changes in Washington, D.C.
I hate to vote for Obama bin Laden but it makes sense in order to defeat that warmonger McCain.
Now sing with me to the tune of "Cocaine" by Eric Clapton....
"He's all lies, he's all lies, he's all lies...... McCain"

vote bob barr. we need a libertarian in the office of presidency
alansready 3 years ago 2
Vote OBAMA for the GOP loss!
nododon 3 years ago
Google glen greenwald obama and fisa
Obama is supporting the FISA bill. Glen Greenwald from Salon explains why the FISA bill is still so bad, and why we should not ignore the fact that he's soft peddling it. He claims he'll take the telecom immunity out of the bill later, but the bill is even much worse than that. Check it out.
I will vote for Nader or Barr. I know they are totally different, but I'm not voting for a traitor.
MrXfromPlanetX 3 years ago
From Pastor Chuck Baldwin:

Seiku 3 years ago
It would be nice to coalesce around the same candidate so he could get a chance at being in the debates -- where the message could be broadcast to those who have not yet heard it. If we're spread all over the place, between different candidates and write-ins, I don't see that happening.
So far I see the LP as having the best ballot access and the most media attention, but I could change my mind.
carolm62 3 years ago
If you're going to "write-in" Dr. Paul, make sure he's counted in your state. Most, states WILL NOT count write-ins unless fees (usually in the tens of thousands of dollars) are payed. Fund raise, petition, etc. or a write-in becomes as good as sitting at home.
The route of the "write-in" can be very fruitless; it's usually easier to find out how many signatures are required for an independent candidate to be put on the ballot, and get those signatures.
carolm62 3 years ago
Yes because RP said that if "they" can rig a convention just imagine what they will do with your vote.
My guess is they will use it as a McInsane vote ..& NONE of us want that .. ANYONE else but McCain & Obamba..but lets all vote for the same person, what if RP is a vice for one or the other
