I first caught Albert Lee when he was an integral part of Emmylou Harris's Hot Band, then saw Eric Clapton's tour when he was the featured second guitarist -- imagine that amount of guitar wizardry on stage at once! Albert is one of the best to ever pick up an axe!

Was shot at the old Mars Music store in Ft Lauderdal back around 1996/1997. It was done for a Warner Brother DVD of his music with some instructional parts. Had the privildege of being there (front row-white hats) and it was very good, Nicole was excellent as the whole band was. Albert is a true master and very nice man with no airs about him.

Albert has a strong claim as the best guitarist ever. I saw him at a small club in Scotland and although he played the usual "country" set with his band Hogan's Heros every guitarist, no matter what kind of music they played, from miles around turned up to see him. Mouths open in awe when you see this guy doing his thing (effortlessly!)

Saw Albert with his band Hogan's Heroes in Aberdeen, Scotland (thanks Billy!) a few years back and I became a believer! He's in a class of his own.

Hey Kezzajl, he's really good, no doubt, but what of P. Frampton, G. Moore, Alvin Lee...? All these guys are so good it's really tough to say who's best. Love 'em all! Check out the Jerry Lee Lewis London sessions album with a young Albert Lee..OMG, you can tell he will be a power!!
