I heard of White Wizzard after he came along so I got to listen to both singers at once instead of becoming a Luna fan and instantly hating Wyatt. Wyatt's voice and range reminds me of Dio or Maiden and (in my opinion) is WAAAAY better than Luna ever could be. I like them both, dont get me wrong. Maybe check out Night Train To Tokyo or High Roller by newer Wizzard. Too bad that he also left the band... He became my favorite singer

Listen to their songs Faceless Mistress, Beyond where I learn, and well their whole debut album. Other than that, I've listened to Wolf, Neuronspoiler and a few others but they havent exactly blown me away. Theres a whole lot of new thrash bands though, many of them are good.

What about White Wizzard, where there's a breakdown in the chorus of Into the Night? There's nothing wrong with breakdowns; every band does them. It's just another color. Now hardcore breakdown, where it gets really slow and they just play their lowest strings? ugh... so sick of that.

@Sucklessguitarvids 1. Not every band uses breakdowns, there are plenty that don't. 2. I think you're confusing breakdowns with breaks\bridges, where the tempo slows and the song goes into a different riff. Indeed hardcore breakdowns do suck though.

The definition of a breakdown may be debated by some, but it's still a whole color that a band can use that I don't think we should just throw out the window. Plenty of great bands used breakdowns; Kreator, Pantera, and Dream Theater (listen to Fatal Tragedy) are just a few

@HeadBangar1030 How about "Combat Shock" from new wave of thrash metal band "Warbringer." They have a breakdown in that song. Thrash metal breakdowns are way more different than scene/deathcore breakdowns. Thrash has them once in a while but dethcore has them in every song which gets boring.
