All in all my biggest hope for change is taking kobe down a few notches. I'm actually kinda concerned for the health of the developers at 2k sports. Did they at least come up for air every now and then in between their kobe cock sucking sessions? I know kobe is the baddest muthafucka in the game right now but jesus fucking christ, he doesn't do 10dunks from the free throw line every game. You play against anyone who has skills and chooses the lakers and kobe's got a guaranteed 50.

Are you serious? If u try to guard him one on one he goes around your defender . And once he gets to the free throw line he can take off for a dunk almost every time. Putting a hand in his face rarely causes him to miss. If you double him u leave the lakers 3-point shooters open and they'll destroy u. So how exactly is it easy?

Hope they dont make major changes. 2k8 was damn near perfect. Just fix the glitches and improve the graphics a bit. I'd say add flagrant fouls, techs, and ejections and that's about it. Perfect b-ball game. Oh yeah, and make kobe bryant human.

2k7 was damn near perfect.... i think changing the player movements and looks took a step back... but there was more thought i think into the gameplay than graphics which was better...

Have u played 2k8 very much, b/c honestly i had those same thoughts when i first played the game. Once u get used to the changes they made though, i found that 2k8 was a much better game than 2k7. For one, u can actually play defense in 2k8. On 2k7, everytime u tro to contest a shot u would get called for a foul. And certain players were completely unstoppable in the paint. 2k8 is a much more balanced game than 2k7.

yeah i own both games and there's still that level of being unstoppable such as driving to the hole and big men doing the spinning dropstep that always works and the post spin that works 90% of the time or when you get bumped away from the direction you were going and they do the behind the back or spin move that gets you past the defender... i like 2k8 better as a whole i just feel certain things were better on 2k7 player faces, shooting releases, the fact that when someone jumps on a pump fake

you could jump into them like they would do in real life... but i like things better on 2k8... more post moves, better passing although the flashy shit gets annoying with the incredible cpu passes lol & they still need to work on making the pass where you direct it... also they need to work on the smoothness of the dribbling, and go back to the better shooting of releasing at the peak... not a tad bit b4 the peak... the oops are fake and the passes the computer weaves thru get really annoying...

I agree with lots of what you're saying. I'd like to address some of the problems with online play too. I think it's total bullshit that people can quit the game anytime and force u to lose your stats. If I'm having a career game all the other person has to do is quit or disconnect and i lose everything. I still get the win of course, but i lose all my stats and the ability to save any replays from the game.

Fucking quitters, i hate em. And after u whoop their ass they accuse u of abusing exploits. 2k needs to do what EA does and allow u to finish the game against the cpu if the other person quits. I mean, what's the point of keeping the stats if u lose em most games? Aren't there any players out there who dont quit when they fall behind by double digits? Cuz if there are i sure as hell haven't played them.

The other annoying thing is, when you are losing by double digits, like its happened to me before and you actually finish the game, the give a negative rating of just a horrible opponent...only once when that happened did someone say "good sportsmanship"...

Same here. My worst loss ever was by 21, but i never quit and i despise people who do. I hung around and played hard the whole game and the guy gives me a bad rating say i was a horrible opponent. Maybe they just give bad ratings cuz they assume u r gonna give them a bad rating though.
