I'm with you all the way, Cee. I've owned excluslively Hyundais for 14 years now, a '95 Accent and currenlty an 06 Tucson (both bought brand new). Anyone who says these cars are crap simply haven't owned or driven one.
I'm a first time owner with a 07 Sonata I bought new a couple years ago. I love it. Hyundai as a brand is definitely improving. A lot of friends don't like Hyundai, but once I take them for a ride they admit its pretty good.
Very true! I get made fun for my 07 Tiburon all the time... but it really is that bad of a car.. even tho i have the GS model... Which is major weaksauce... I am really excited for the Genesis Coupe to come out in the states...ill deff be trading my 07 Tibby in for one
You can get a really nice 2.0L turbo 6-speed manual with a limited slip differential, rear wheel drive, 13.4" rotor brembo brakes up front, 13.0" in the rear all with 4 piston calipers with 19" wheels for just around $24k.
It's a freaking bargain if you think about it, do a simple turbo swap and you're looking at ~360rwhp on stock internals/head.
If it had a Lexus badge on it, people would pay 48k for it i bet, props to Hyundai making this masterpiece.
