  • @rickir18 jup it's worth it :) It's more then just having a good body, as u can see, Matt is confident about himself and is feeling happy and healthy. On a scientific level, endorfine is released everytime u workout (same stuff that is released when u have an orgasm) and it's one of the most addictive things on earth.

  • @SBIChris When in a caloric deficit, leptin (a hormone involving fat loss) needs to be replenished, thus I carb up! Thus these carb ups actually HELP lose weight. The point isn't to replenish the muscles... it's to "fix" my leptin levels :)

  • Hey matt, I see you doing a lot of "deadlift" movements... In other videos you also mention that the deadlift is killing your back. Do you think doing deadlifts for my back days and SLDL for my legdays is overkill? And also the "hip thrust" exercise you got going on (I see Alberto Nunez rocking this aswell) what is the main targeted muscle? Do you think legdays just hit legs? Exercise wise? Or do you think hamstrings/quads, hamstrings/quads?

  • @stillbadz I think throwing in the SLDL's once in a while is fine, I throw it in once or a couple times a month but I don't find myself going apeshit on them. Hip thrust - I haven't done them in a while but I did them mostly for da glutez. Leg days wise - I'm currently on wendler 5/3/1, I make sure my main lifts are absolutely progressing, but to be honest I don't complicate things. I just do work lol. Compound lifts 80% of the time > shit like leg curls and whatnot.
