thanks so much. this is definitely the best tutorial for making a na'vi. although, i wasn't comfortable with the way you made the stripes. yours look great but i just decided to copy in tribal tatoos and altering them a bit and changing them to overlay and reducing their opacity. a bit cheap but effective

How did you get the scalp to blend in with the hair, i tried it on my end and the hair keeps getting in the way or looking blue, what did you use to turn it black again and keep the hair line even and blended

on the layer mask, if it's white that means it'll show the changes, if it's black it doesn't show anything. so for the scalp i turned down the opacity of the brush and painted white on the layer mask.

mac is not much different, instead of the 'Ctrl' button it's 'Cmd' for you. as far as right clicking i have no clue. i'll look into it
