  • I used to play it in C also... I learned it from a midi file I founds years ago. Then I heard it played in Ab and was born again!

    Keep it up.

  • It sounds cheesey in the key of C. It sounds choppy too.

  • this is the best song ever i really want to learn it im gonna die!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love that song!! you played it very well

  • no matter the key, it sounds good !

  • u know somethin, i took piano lessons on and off when i was a kid, but i got enough that i feel confident i can learn this if i give it enough practice.

but self taught, thats pretty good cuz this song is hard to coordinate the 2 rhythms. great job!

  • Pretty good, but I would have liked it more if you played faster. Also, try getting the original piano solo version. I'm sure you can play it. Heck, I can play it and I'm still in middle school!

Good job on playing! It was good! :)

  • That's how fast it's supposed to go. I hope you're talking about making the whole piece flow more smoothly. If not, I'm sure all your middle school pieces sound like they have a rocket up their ass. Songs sound crappy when kids try to play them too fast, mistaking speed for skill.

  • Very lovely playing. It sounds nice in C. The original's in Ab on my sheet but playing by ear

is the way to go with jazz.

  • hmm...too stacato..i think u should slur more

  • yeah that was good except for i play it differently (Oo)?

  • i dont know if you know this, but that is in the wrong key, you play it in C, th original is in Bb just move every thing down a hlaf step and u shopuld be fine

  • Yea someone else already pointed that out. I just play it how the sheet music told me to :P lol

  • You move it down a whole step not a half.... noob.

  • noob...lol

    hahaha piano noob? thats funny

  • To go from C down to Ab he needs to transpose it down 5 semi tones.

  • since your playing on an electric keyboard, it can probably transpose for you, so instead of of relearning it in a new key, you can just digitally transpose. Nice playing

  • Origonal is in Ab :)

  • thats not true to the person who said you cant teach yourself because i have been playing for a month and im already better than people who have been playing for years and years which might seem messed up to people but i think its pretty awesome

  • Very entertaining!

  • That's very good for teaching yourself how to play piano! This is one of my favorite songs. I posted a video of the same song as well. Check it out if you wish!

  • And its never to late, piano lessons aren't just for kids. But the longer you play without proper technique, the harder it will be to fix it.

  • Hey thats the same way I play it. It is in the wrong key but its EZer for beginners like me. You should definitely try to get into some real lessons though. Piano is one instrument that is almost impossible to learn right on your own. If you don't have proper fingering, even though it seems ok early on, you will never be able to move onto harder songs later.

  • playin it in the wrong key

  • *shrug* that's the key I learned it in.

  • My favorite song! :))

  • very good

    it's really nostalgic

    =')

  • Pretty good for someone who taught herself. Bravo!

  • goood job. i don't even know how to play that and i been taking music lessons for 2 yrs now, now that's messed up. but anyways goooood job. oh and... yay i have the first comment!!!

  • Hey thanks! :) I learned this song waaaaay back in high school. A couple of my friends had taken lessons for years, and they helped me a LOT.
