I hope the arrogant fucking nigger that is Hanley Rameriz dies. I hate that piece of shit with a passion. He's ALWAYS being an asshole but hardly ever gets called out for it. Prick.
The way this situation was handled by both Hanley and Fredi Gonzalez was stupid. Hanley should have shown more effort, but don't sit him for not apologizing. Gonzalez should have kept him in the lineup and made Hanley apologize on his own. This whole deal showed Hanley's youth. He's still a young guy and hopefully he'll learn from this, after all, he is my favorite pro athlete.
yup im a marlins fan and i agree this was the right decison to bench hanley. well fredi gonzalez just got fired today so you could make a video about that xD
I agree 100% JR. Even if his leg hurt, and im not saying it did, he still needs to have enough respect for the coach and the team to apologize. Its just egotistical.
If i had hanley's talent and his contract i would probably be an asshole too lol Dont judge another man until you have walked in they're shoe's. Besides i dont think hanley gives a damn what any of us think about him.... he's rich
@Blackmafia100 exactly man we talking about one play talk about all the posotove plays he does come on man one play and those runs were going to score and nursing and injury (probable) but aint the end of the world hes a 3.20 hitter n gold glover manny ramirez laziest player who cuts plays but producers who care its babseball if you going to go after hanley go after the jeters and howards who do the same.
Hanley is an ass. He signed one of the biggest contracts in Marlin's history and he does this crap! He got what he deserved. If i was the manager , I would have done the same. He needs to learn how to respect his peers, his manager and the game!
i dont really care about hanley's attitude, hes the best player on the team n he knows it. but i think the apology actually made him sound worse, it was too late n it was definitely written by his agent..
Are you people serious? Come on JR your beginnin to sound like skip bayless. The guy was hurt the runners were goin to score anyway, and the only thing I hate seein more than not hustlin is fake hustlin. Thats what people with no talent do! I guess your also on the Kobe and KG are old bandwagon. Don't be a sheep!
@JRSportBrief jr do us a favor from miami fl could u keep ur mouth of the florida miami teams because all u do is talk shit about our home teams no matter wut and ovise ur from NY so please keep miami out ur mouth act like we dont exist Thank u bruh!
shits understandable cuz of course people always have shit in their life causing them up and downs and making them say or do things they dont really mean... dont we all? But being in his situation LOL its funny how he put his manager down, hey maybe it was a way to get back at him for yelling at him. Being young we all know how good that feeling is to get back at someone who pissed u off but its not like you hear shit like this from hanley everyday either.
@solja116 Yea, this guy put his foot in his mouth, dissed his boss and ended up saying sorry. Hilarious his boss will probably be fired somewhere down the line!
Agreed. Most valueable ass! I just saw the video and I couldn't believe it. Even worse is the fact that he spoke about his manager like that. When you're a pro athlete you have to think about the consequences a little more...
3rd he has to run and look at the base runners {on none of the espn shows did they show the base runners} if the base runners are in and the last batter is cruising into base then its fine for him also to take his foot off the gas a bit.
There is a lineage of events that caused the reaction and because of that he SHOULD BE ALLOWED to apologize sans scrutiny. He was wrong; when I do something wrong and then attacked b4 I can be shown the error of my ways, I'm gonna say something regrettable.
If the press and the manager had looked at the ACTUALLY PLAY realistically they would have seen that the ball had been kicked 100 ft into the outfieild, with noone else in sight.
1st its extremely rare to ever see even an outfielder with that much green between him and the ball.
2nd he had just sprinted into the outfield to attempt the catch. So even tho its not very far some sprinting had already been done.
This is the only place where you will here this BUT Ramirez was not all the way to blame for this situation. Don't get me wrong, what he said about his manager was wrong and the way he approached things AFTERWARDS was wrong 100% wrong. BUT he did not loaf as bad as people thought, AND THEN when he was attacked by the press on what his manager said in the dugout THEN he lashed out.
I'm not surprised....Hanley's talents and his contract have made his head much bigger. The nice cars and jewelry he owns doesn't mean that he should be loafing on defense or on offense. Simple...
I am a Marlins fan, let's get this straight. However, Hanley has been ass. Fredi did the right thing, and Hanley took it to another level. Just because you hit .342 last season, doesn't give you the right to act like a pussy. He needs to remember he is the leader of team, and setting an example for the club, the team, and for the entire city of Miami. I hope we can close this chapter, but Hanley has done this before, and, most likely, will do it again later.
IM soo behind Hanely.. i think he did the right thing.. i mean i understand where his coming where but his the best player on the Marlines besides Uggla and Joe Johnson. but his the best player on the team. he does everything for the team. if it wasnt for him, they wouldnt be where they are.. and this is coming from a Yankee fan. I wont be suprised if he goes to the yankees and replaces my bro Jeter
I ain't a baseball fan, but when I saw his story on Yahoo, it just made me SICK. You don't "jog" after the ball like that and then be disrespectful to your team.
People forget that MLB is a profession not just a game. In a real job Hanley would be fired for pulling this crap. Too bad he isn't in the real world, I want to see him get some deserved punishment. As for his apology he doesn't really mean it, he just said that so he could play.
Athletes are such pussies. Even though he should have apologized from the start, I would have respected him more if he had at least stuck to his guns. But now he's an asshole AND a pussie.
@Classic905 well this is the real world and he didnt get fired.. hes the best player on the team heck i wouldnt care so much either i can see his point..5 years ago i said this guy from the dr was gonna do his thing in a couple years and he has.
