I somehow stalled a 747 climbing out at around 30,000 feet. added full power, nose down, and went into the most incredible spin you will ever see. I dont think the 747 can recover from a major stall in Flight Sim.

To recover: flaps up full, gun the throttle and get the nose DOWN! You can recover if you have enough altitude and pick up enough airspeed. I've done it once on FS 2002.

For a start numnuts, this is a Boeing 747 and it has 4 turbofan engines. It will not be using highbypass at 42k ft, it will be favouring the compression system involved with the Turbine jet engine as the air is LESS dense the higher you go. thus requiring the air to be compressed by the compressors to increase the density of the air in the combustion process.

Actualy dude, if you know a little about how ppowerplants work or maybe airframe you should know that planes depending on the weight, they flight at different speeds and altitudes. This is considered a big aircraft and from the looks of it, it has 2 turbofans maybe high by pass. The altitud on this baby is 42k ft, the air is more dence I could go all day but I dont have time my lunch is over comment or message if you want to know a complete answer.
