@HenGlinz - Good question, indeed. I would have bet half of the pot. His opponent would have called more than likely given that it wasn't an all-in situation. I would have just made a nice bet as you suggested. Jerry was committed to the pot and would have had to call. Phil basically wanted to look like he was sitting on a weak hand and went all-in in a desperate attempt to not be called. He wanted to act like he didn't want to be called. However, I would have made a bet on this given hand.

Ivey would never check trip kings on such a draw heavy flop , he would c bet to protect his hand. the river allin is perfect, hes got a 9 for a split pot or air,(quads also lol). Now I dont know if fitt is a good player, but it would be very had to put Ivey on a King,even more quads.His fold is very good , but something tells me the guy just put ivey ona slow played trip kings rivered full house which I think would never happen.

@MrAussiebogan If I were you, I'd start @ 10c/25c blinds. Playing 10c/.25c you should have AT LEAST $500 in your account. 5% of 500 is $25 and that's the buy in for 10c/25c. You MUST have at least 20 buy-ins in your account.

To play 25c/50c blinds you need at least $1000 in your account

To play 50c/1.00 blinds you need at least $2000 and so on

It may seem like a ton of money needed to play such low limits, but it is ABSOLUTELY necessary in case you go on a long bad run of cards. It happens.

If you can't beat the cheapest games on pokerstars - you won't be able to beat the pricier games.
