i think the t62 has less options than these do. like theres less pitch control and there may not be a reverse button to play things backwards...otherwise i think the construction is the same. you'd have to do some digging to know all the differences but its something like that.
ok sweet. also are these good to start learning to scratch on? im mostly a mix dj but want to start trying some cutting so are these good for the price? decent torque?
thats pretty good man. I have the same turntables, but i have a numark DXM06 mixer. Also, i've been using serato (im a beginner) but i've been wanting to practice with real vinyl. any recommendations where to look for it?
ebay or local record shops if you have any in your area...i dunno if they have a store called 'sound exchange' in your area but they have vinyl...also hot topic has vinyl records, not a huge selection though...plus its not really any hip hop...
i like my setup just fine. i use a few different sets of headphones...bose has some nice ones, but for DJing i have some Sony MDR-V700...theyre great.
true, the camera i use it light and little so i hung it over the edge of my tv on a tripod....whatever rig you can set up to get a "birds eye view" is prolly the best...youre able to see everything the dj is doing.
i taught myself for the most part, i play a lot of instruments otherwise so i took to it kind of quickly, i understood the concept behind turntables before i tried them so i think it helped me better understand them...any videos i watched about it were on youtube.
im 24 years old. i dont plan on using these tables to do any gigs, ive done a few party gigs with a friend of mine but he uses a laptop and mp3s. no vinyl. but i could use this setup to do a gig if i wanted but i really dont feel like i have enough records to rock a party for 3 or 4 hours...and i dont have a lot of new popular records either.
well they hook up via RCA cable...which i converted to 1/4 inch jack and plugged into my mixer...which is going through my computer...so i record it that way as if it were any other instrument hooked through 1/4 inch....but the mixer output will be RCA so plan around that somehow...
nice

One question though. Does this have a way to hook up directly to a computer, so you can edit it? (In a program like Cakewalk or Fruity Loops)
UnmutteringMatt 4 years ago
