Rabbits don't die from heart attack at the drop of a penny. Rabbits are delicate yes but they aren't made from bloody glass. I see declawing cats as 'torture' because it is unnecessary. They need their claws to climb. would deny their cat the ability to climb trees and hunt? Because that is what cats do. Make them a scratch post, it will cost pennies. If the rabbit was being abused, it would not look as healthy; its coat would not be as beautiful as it looks, it would not be jumping around that much, and if the chinchilla WAS hurting it, it would have been sqeaking and would probably have patches of fur missing on it by now. Its so cool that your little chin and your rabbit get along so well. Mine had two bunny room mates at two different times. His first roomie was a wild bunny baby and had to be released. It was too bad that his second 'friend' turned out to be a bully. It sucked since he loved playing with the first buddy so much as i can see yours enjoys their rabbit friend.
