do any of you even know what those patches mean? the unit in this video are from A co. 2-2inf 1st ID out of Vilseck Germany. I was one of them. i find it very disrespectful for some one to " oh yeah thats me!" when they know damn well it is not. im sure jpena308 probly feels the same! he was with us.

Second... I can't remember where I got the original raw footage of the fighting. It was marked as footage from Fallujah, and it gave me the idea as I had just seen 'Patton' and was struck at how the General's words fit it so well.

The ONLY purpose of this video is to laud the performance of the US military. If this is NOT footage from Fallujah, I apologize. But it does not ditract from the theme, IMHO.

Well I saw an interview with Ssgt Bellavia and they used this clip and said it was hit squad, and also the on guy who was sitting down and you see a close up of his face, looks like on the squad members in the book (from the picture in book). So yea, im pretty positive this is Ssgt Bellavia in fallujah

I wonder if Ssgt Bellavia ever watches this clip of him and his squad. His account of the battle in the book is just amazing. Im re-reading the book for 2nd time right now. Defiantly recommended read for anyone with an interest in the war.

the Russians are Ill trained under equipped and have probably in fact the Russian made up 80% of combat casualties in WW2. The Chinese are finally catching up in equipment but that doesn't mean shit there military has barely any combat experience. Plus look at there Korean war tactics send wave after wave to there deaths.

They protest because troops are dieing in a war that was not involved with 911. They are trying to save them from dieing. . While I am sure that you probably do love your country, I find it VERY hard to believe that the anti-war protestors have the troops "best interests at heart." While our stances on the Iraq war may be different (I for one supported it and still don't regret the decision). Many of the anti-war protestors, were also the ones who were protesting in front of recruitment centers and harrassing military personnel. That to me, does not sound like support.

Well, then forgive me for the generalization then. I'm sure that there are liberals who do care about them. The only liberals who I direct my anger towards are the anti-war protestors and some of the liberal politicians. I for one support the troops with going to pro-troop rallies, sending money to organizations that TRULY support them whenever I can, praying for them, and I also plan on joining their ranks.
