sink holes have been in the city of Cairo again not the same as the country lol.. my mother is 70 and she said when they would go there as a young child and young adult hood she seem many sinkholes and even witnessed one right in front of her and never went back until YEARS later with my father, so yeah they happen there, could be cause they r so close to the Ohio and Mississippi River and Cape had one HUGE one last yr
