@gamesiknowaremything Level up Valor Form. To level it up, drive into Valor and start hitting enemies. Every hit is 1 point and every level needs a certain amount of them (in total i think it's 1500-2500 for all 7 levels)

Sephiroth's voice was so horrible in KH1. I think they literally just found someone to play as him

i remeber this fight it was so awesome at the end of it all i was out of magic an inch of my life and no potions at that point i was ready to die for the 1000th time but then i charged him and go the last hit one thing that helped me was oblivion the ribbons as armor and 2 soldier earings man what an epic fight

I made files dedicated to fighting Sephiroth at the lowest lvl i could possibly win. I'm sad to say lvl 31 was the lowest lvl I managed to win, and I was pretty lucky to even win after 10 or so tries.

If you notice the attacks that sephiroth uses in the beginning of the battle in kh2 are those that uses in kh 1 in the end of the battle and virse versa(except for the orange comets...)

Watching this makes me feel like I didn't earn Fenrir. I fought him a lvl 100 after I synthed enough strength boosts to make my attack over 100.

I defeated him once but after that, I couldn't defeat him ever again . And I always fucked up at this, eh how do you call it? Descend, Heartless Angel Attack? I'd like to try it again, but unfortunately I lost the game. Well you could say I hid it and then I forgot where I hid it. Yeah shame on me -.-. But even if I found it, I can't play it because I haven't got a PS2. The one I played with was of a friend.

The ONLY attack that EVER caused me problems was:

"Descend, Heartless Angel!"

I didn't know (at first) that you HAVE TO COUNTERATTACK. I thought that I could dodge out of the way, and he would hit me, then blow me up.

Very impressive. I can honestly I'm jealous. I managed to beat him at lvl 67, but it was HORRIBLE. I took me six elixir's, and about seven cure's to do it, and I hated every second of it.

My problem was that I could never stop his instant-death thing, and I never thought to just take some time to upgrade my double jump. Yeesh, talk about a Deus Ex Machina.

Hell, it's a lot easier than in KH1.

If Fighting sephiroth was a unlimitted battle? You could dish at him for certain amount of time? and got the fenrir after the battle..no matter how long you live against him..I know it may be a cheap way to get fenrir but imagine the battle..Epic..

On Critical (FM+), I couldn't beat him until Lv 56...

Also, when Sephy knocks you into the air, why does everyone insist on recovering & attacking rather than using Retaliating Slash?

Well, if you use it immediately, then you'll miss for sure. But, if you wait until the moment before he hits you, you'll hit him for sure (and you'll get the extra hits at the beginning of the move).

I'm just saying, that's what I do and it works for me every time. It might not work for others.

I think there's something wrong with me. On normal and mania (never bothered with easy) I could only beat Sephiroth with Oathkeeper >.<; I always died with any other weapon. Well anyways, when you block his ground attacks, just block once then counter. Just some advice, its easier that way.
