Just saw Los Straitjackets on Wednesday 2/16/2011 at the Turning Point in Piermont NY on the first date of thier East coast swing. They were great as usual, but Daddy-O (Danny Amis) was sorely missed by all in the house.....It just wasn't the same. Gregorio El Grande (Greg Townson from the Hi-Risers) was a fine replacement, but..........
Get well soon Daddy-O-Grande.....We need you back on stage, and in the studio.

@beatlesque2 I saw them the following night at Cafe9, as well as their previous time around on july 20, 2010, Greg had just started to fill in then...he's a great fit for the band and has really grown into the spot. We all miss Danny very much, he's one of the cleanest fingerboard men in the business, Robert expresses our wishes the best way possible, by dedicating this song to Danny. Thanks Big Sandy!
