ohhhhhh Keith..........such a HEART!!! Just love "EM so much for all he and the Stones gave..............thank you for this video, a treasure, to me!
Taylor never played on sister morphine-or wrote it-he didn't join until '69 just before Brian Jones died-he quit the band in '74-what the hell are you smokin? And Jagger wrote some melodies, like Dead Flowers and You Can't Always Get What You Want; oh yeah, he also wrote Sympathy For The Devil-words and music-Watch One Plus One by Goddard, also available as Sympathy For The Devil-Plus, Bill Wyman had the riff to Jumpin Jack Flash, Paint It Black, so-where are these albums from '68 to 81?

@semirgned1 Yeah not Sister Morphine. Recorded in 69, but Taylor is still on it. And of course I knew Taylor left in 74. I was just saying my favorite period was between 68 and 81, you know the 8x#1 albums in a row. Those albums. And yes I have Jean-Luc Goddard's crazy-ass movie: Richards did help on Jagger licks, no? (?) - And even though Richards got credit for Moonlight Mile he wasn't in the session for it at all - An all night session between the two Micks reworking a Richard's riff.
Yes, Mick Taylor made their sound prettier than it should be - and I like Taylor's period better (Actually anything between 68-81). But you gotta remember every song the Stones ever made -the musical riffs were written by Keith (except a few by Taylor -Moonlight Mile, Sister Morphine, etc, though Keith gets the credit.) Keith is the most underrated songwriter in history. With 90 top 100 singles. But more importantly the gems found between 1968-81 on the albums released in that period,
@heyman29323 Taylor never played or wrote on Sister Morphine-Jagger wrote the licks to Dead Flowers, You Can't Always Get What You Want, and...Sympathy For The Devil-Taylor didn't join til '69 right brfore Brian Jones died, and left the band in '74-'68-81? Wyman wrote the riff to Jumpin Jack Flash -Moonlight Mile is also Jagger-Sway might be more Taylor than Jagger, and Ventilator Blues, Time Waits For No One, the second half of Knockin', and many more are mostly Taylor on Sticky and after.
