  • Does this tool come in a socket set style? I know for a fact there is no way that wrench style would reach my stripped bolt.

  • @furiousgeorge00

Yes, there are many brands of bolt extractor sockets with the same spiral socket profile e.g. Twist Sockets, Turbo Sockets, etc. I don't know if Canadian Tire carries any, but you can find them at Sears (Craftsman Bolt Out), on amazon.com and other online tool sites, and auto parts stores. Irwin (makers of Vise Grips and other tools) has their own brand called Bolt-Grip. Many sets are impact rated tools. Some like those from SK come in deep sockets. Low profiles available too.

I should add that many auto mechanics, especially older ones, often refer to this type of extractor as E-Z offs, or E-Z outs, or something similar, which was an earlier brand.

  • Got one of those... pretty nice... when it can actually reach the bolt head! In most cases you would prefer a socket...

  • Where to buy in Germany or the Netherlands?

  • @WildeTanteAnna

Canadian Tire stores are located in Canada only and are independently owned and operated, as far as I know. The company itself does not ship internationally, not even to the US. The only solution I can suggest is to email the company. Some individual stores may be willing to sell to you and ship via an international carrier like FedEx or UPS.

  • @scalabration Thank you very much for this answer. I will try it.
