  • There would be a whole lot fewer liberals if they would only spank the monkey with a defibrillator.

  • like guy i do!!

  • Zo is right global warming is completely untrue. Just like how liberals try to convince us that the sun is real. Well then how do explain it being dark and cold at night.

  • you are fuckin retarded. Alfonzo im a fuckin republican but if u got a problem with the green movement, then you are so stupid, it blows my mind

  • He's not saying he dont support a cleaner planet...... we all do!! But their IS a trillion dollar scam going on here with cap and trade! measure the fucking? Then tax it? huh? what's next tax the sun? he's saying that our money is being wasted! solyndra etc. oh another billion dollar obama green plant went belly up this week. they can't compete, their products dont work! we are still using oil.

  • how big of a solar plant or wind orchard would be required to produce the heat oh casting to produce the windmills or bake the solar cells "can the factories that make green products run on them" check and you will see its nuke or oil plants that power them diesel that ships them .calculate the surface area required per cell to produce x amount of amps then figure the free surface of the earth and you will find the entire planet would not power La.

  • LiberalJerseyMan, you need to pull your head out of your religious ass. Claiming that your "preferred" energy sources can replace the others is nothing other than a delusional left-wing tantrum.

The wind doesn't blow all the time. By definition the sun shines on average half the time.

Think. It may be too late for you though, just as someone who has lain in bed for 30 years cannot walk.

  • This is bullshit. Solar, wind, and other green energy can easily replace oil. The greedy motherfuckers who control the oil industry brainwash gullible people like you into believing that green energy isn't capable of matching oil. Also, actual Greens don't support cap and trade.

  • @LiberalJerseyman Seriously? Dude? Is your brain connected to your mouth at all? Think about it. Think about how these mega-corporations love to exploit the shit out of everything and everyone, that they think is effective, efficient, and can keep them rollin' in money. If Solar and Wind energy where as effective you seem to think, they would be all over it. The reason that there aren't solar and wind farms as far as the eye can see, is because they don't work effectively or consistently.

  • @CaughtNTheCrosshair2 Rather they'r going to need a chance to start, and during their start (which will take a while) we are going to NEED gas and oil. spend money to make money man.

  • @CaughtNTheCrosshair2 and aside from that, the oils of the earth are going to cost more and hold more economic weight. Blood is heavier than air. aside from being rare and expensive gold is almost useless.

  • @LiberalJerseyman Do some research. Oil is around $1/Kilowatt of energy while Solar, wind and other sorts of energy are 10 to 20X or more costly.

  • @Aegius Still doesn't change the fact that oil is dirty and inefficient (not to mention a fossil fuel).

  • @LiberalJerseyman Oil is quite efficient as it is far less costly in production of energy than solar or wind. Dirty? There is smog, but if you want to talk about draw-backs, try miles of solar panels for little energy or wind-mills galore for little energy. Besides the smog has been far less with better, more efficient technology.

  • @Aegius Oil also is a pain in the ass to drill for. When was the last time you heard of a solar spill? How about a wind explosion? "Miles of solar panels and wind turbines" really doesn't bother people, and if you're that annoyed by it then you're vastly in the minority. They would make our nation look much more modernized, unlike the smog-filled skies we see now.

  • @LiberalJerseyman Yes, because appearance is far more important than practicality, right?

  • @JohnnyC133 Nope. Oil is not practical, since it carries with it such a high risk.

  • @LiberalJerseyman And 'alternative energy' sources are more practical because they're more expensive to build and maintain, and provide only a tiny amount of energy per individual unit?

Oil sucks, I agree, but right now there are no other real practical choices.

  • @JohnnyC133 Alternative energy is no more expensive than building a refinery and cleaning it up when it explodes.

  • @LiberalJerseyman 1. That's BS.

    2. They still provide only a tiny amount of energy per individual unit.

    3. They provide only a miniscule fraction of the amount of jobs that the oil industry provides.

  • @JohnnyC133 1) The BP oil spill took over $1 Billion to clean up

    2) The technology is still relatively new when compared to oil and nuclear

    3) So what? I could hire a company that specializes in child prostitution and it would create jobs. Just because something creates jobs doesn't mean it's write. Not to mention that oil jobs pay like shit.

  • I do not know everything about the green vs oil war, but I have heard arguments from both sides. Should probably look more into it
