Just make sure you do the JFSR not the normal Sky Rocket (how to do it is in the description). And make sure you do a whole back dash, and it's up to timing from there.

Most of these combos only work on big characters right?

The ones that work only on bigs are labelled OBC, otherwise they require crucial timing. If you are having trouble with the dash, 124, 2 then perhaps just use a dash, 24, 2. The damage difference is either none or superficial, so you're better off not going with the difficult version. I did only for show ;)

Wow, noob friendly subs. I've been playing tekken for quite some time now -but i'd never really tried to understand what people really write on forums (only things i know -is 1,2,3,4 and what can be seen at the command list, also if i'm correct "~" is a star?.

no. "~" means the move after it has to be done immediately. the star is "N" or neutral.

Nope, works on all characters. Make sure you're starting with the JFSR, and after you hit the 3,4~f, keep holding f so that you do one flamingo dash, and as soon as that's over hit 2 to continue the rest of the combo.

Great combos. But on the combos with 4,4,4+b at the wall, do 4,4,4+f. It does more dmg.

m just curious about this combo: J4-JSFR-7H-86D-PS. the starting move emits a blue light. how did you do it? on a normal move, it does not emit a blue light.. waaaaa

you need to perform the Just Frame Sky Rocket (JFSR)...its the same command for the reg sky rocket except you don't press d...instead you do f,n,d/f+4...d/f+4 needs to be inputed at the same exact time...it takes time and practice to get it down

A lot of people will say that the JFSR is to be done like the EWGF, but they would be wrong. With Hwo's JFSR (Just-Frame Sky Rocket) the input doesn't need to be insanely fast, all you need to do is get the input correct:

d,n,d/f+4

Two things to remember;

1) Make sure you ONLY hit d/f, and

2) Most importantly, you have to hit d/f and 4 at the EXACT SAME TIME!

Go practice it, when you get it a few times you will get the hang of it, and then you'll be teaching everyone else how to do it!

aside from LFF 4,4,4 & RFF 2,4,4 ,you can also use LFF 2,4,2,4,4 for the last hits in wall combos.

That is true, you can also use RFF 3~4~f, 2,4,4. You will have to dash right after the last hit before the wall to connect it though. Only problem is that and the one you mentioned are not always achievable 100%.

Labeling isn't enough. I highly recommend you do your future combo vids on average weight classes, because players that know what they're doing aren't going to give you the time of day to look at the description most of the time. They're going to see that you're doing combos (that start out ridiculously easy) on Marduk, and ignore. I know this is for newbs and such... but still, give the people some credit. Otherwise, nice vid. I hope you continue making them.

I can understand the circle and such but i thought the number system was the general standard.

4 = Circle

Star = Neutral

I use Marduk because it's easier when it comes to recording the combos. But any combo that is only bigs, I've said it in the subtitles, or is it just because of Marduk?

Oh and the subtitles, would it be better just to use the normal convention or the playstation convention? Or is it the lack of visibility from the quality youtube made it?

As for tech roll always on, I've tested all of my combos and none can be tech rolled, they all work, so I left it on standard 'cause it looks better.

Yeah that's right, sorry, thats why I labelled it AOM: Anticipated Opponent Movement. It only doesn't work if the opponent rolls to either side. Works in matches for me so I put it there.

I like the subs and all, but is there a reason you don't use the conventions established since... Tekken 2? If it was to make it more "noob friendly," it had the opposite effect.

And why do all the combos on Marduk? It blurs the distinction between (1) combos that are easy on big characters and difficult on small characters and (2) combos that can ONLY be done on big characters. It's nice knowing they're all possible, but when they're all done on Marduk, we don't know if they're all practical.

Well I did label if they can't be done on smalls if necessary, and if they can only be done on bigs, if necessary. For recording purposes it is easier to do combos with Marduk.

As for the inputs, it is for Tekken noobs, obviously you're not one and you probably don't need the subtitles to know what I'm doing. Everyone that has PM'ed and commented has loved the subtitles, except you.

I'm not going to say which ones are practical, that's for you to find out yourself, this is just a tutorial.
