Are your strands thick or thin? I I have really thick hair with fine thin hair strands. My goal is for it to grow to your length with heat training. I'm def an advocate.
I have very dry ends. I am a natural but i had alot of coloring done to my hair, and I am trying to get back on track with healthy thick hair. What shampoo and conditioner would you prefer for my hair?????

I purchased it from ebay. 5 dollars for 2. I don't know the name of the seller because it is deleted from my history. The captive bead on me reminds me of a nose dripping...so I go for the "bull" look instead for those who feel my septum jewelry makes me look like one lol. I have no advice except to guide either end of the hoop into the grooves simultaneously(you may need pliers with plastic coverings to help you)..it is kind of tricky i'll admit. Good luck!

I have explained it in diff vids, but I have no problem mentioning it again. 1x per month is when I blowdry. 1x per week to blow is too much for me because the heat would then damage my hair.

Thanks. I've always been natural but I normally get it cut every few months. I've been growing it out for a yr and a half now. It's getting so long, but now tangling is becoming an issue. I'm definitely going to try this technique!
ah coolness! I did something similar [more out of desperation] when I first began to transition... the very back of my hair by my neckline was so badly damaged & choppy I just parted off an inch and made 4 little braids which I had to bobby pin into to my new-growthy/still permed bun for a while... kept them heavily moisturized and separate from everything else, re-braided them every other day or so/ and a year+ later [+ a sorta big chop too] these little braids are the longest sections! :D
I completely agree with you on the whole not-sharing-your-personal-life-on-the-internet. Quite frankly, people will survive without knowing other people (who live hundreds of miles away) business. Thank you for this protective tip! I have to braid the back of my hair in a mini braid and try this! :D
I like when women don't talk about their personal lives on youtube,.. or when they change their direction of their hair and make up channel into personal journal channel....once you go down that road people are going to keep asking personal questions that you may not want to answer. Lol, on a more serious note -- I've been wanting to say thanks for a while now since you continue to be my inspiration not to relax my hair. For some reason when I consider relaxing, I think about the video(from a little while back) of you encouraging your sis even though she had suffered major hair damage.
Thank you for making the point that poor hair care techniques can lead to breakage. Since I got smooth, seam free combs and learned to be way more gentle with my hair I have kept so much more growth. Thanks for sharing.

awesome idea, it was like magic when u pulled out the plait underneath LOL...I also went out and got the cream beeswax...I have't used it on my whole head just the ends of a few twists and I really like it...thank u for sharing
your makeup is lovely. wel, it;s especially lovely to me becasue i never see anyone who does makeup wearing glasses once the look is completed, and in my case I feel like when I do my makeup, especially my eyes, and then put on my glasses, it never looks exactly how I want it to look. And my lenses are not even thick, just very strong. your hair is also lovely, but it always is :)

Great video! I never would have thought you had braided your hair! I have been natural for two years but I do not have enough lenght to do the bun like you suggested. I believe it is because of different styling methods so now that I know better I will go for more protective styles using scarves and materials. Not to worry if your hair isn't long enough just yet. Hair that is short because of a recent big chop (and not becausethe hair is short because of damage) tends to be very strong and wont suffer the way older hair like mine would without some thought about styling.

Thanks. I've always been natural but I normally get it cut every few months. I've been growing it out for a yr and a half now. It's getting so long, but now tangling is becoming an issue. I'm definitely going to try this technique!

ah coolness! I did something similar [more out of desperation] when I first began to transition... the very back of my hair by my neckline was so badly damaged & choppy I just parted off an inch and made 4 little braids which I had to bobby pin into to my new-growthy/still permed bun for a while... kept them heavily moisturized and separate from everything else, re-braided them every other day or so/ and a year+ later [+ a sorta big chop too] these little braids are the longest sections! :D

I completely agree with you on the whole not-sharing-your-personal-life-on-the-internet. Quite frankly, people will survive without knowing other people (who live hundreds of miles away) business. I like when women don't talk about their personal lives on youtube,.. or when they change their direction of their hair and make up channel into personal journal channel....once you go down that road people are going to keep asking personal questions that you may not want to answer. I seen it happen on other channels.. now they have tons of stalker trolls asking them mean personal questions and rating their videos down because they have something against their personal live

Your hair is so naturally beautiful and incredibly healthy. I've been watching your vids for awhile now & appreciate your candor when it comes to your personal life. Some things are not for public consumption and should remain private. I've been natural for a few years now and would never go back to chemicals. I love how your hair is pretty much the same length all over. I wish mine would grow that way, but alas it IS growing and I hope to be mid back length soon. Your length is just amazing!

My hair is thick like yours but I have a longggggggg way to go to catch up. . I find I tend to take my braids out myself because hair stylist tend to be too rough with your hair . Anways I would have like to see how you managed to actually do that twist, and how many inches does your hair grow a year?

For some reason when I consider relaxing, I think about the video(from a little while back) of you encouraging your sis even though she had suffered major hair damage.

Thank you for making the point that poor hair care techniques can lead to breakage. Since I got smooth, seam free combs and learned to be way more gentle with my hair I have kept so much more growth. Thanks for sharing.

awesome idea, it was like magic when u pulled out the plait underneath LOL...I also went out and got the cream beeswax...I have't used it on my whole head just the ends of a few twists and I really like it...thank u for sharing

your makeup is lovely. wel, it;s especially lovely to me becasue i never see anyone who does makeup wearing glasses once the look is completed, and in my case I feel like when I do my makeup, especially my eyes, and then put on my glasses, it never looks exactly how I want it to look. And my lenses are not even thick, just very strong. your hair is also lovely, but it always is :)

Great video! I never would have thought you had braided your hair! I have been natural for two years but I do not have enough lenght to do the bun like you suggested. I believe it is because of different styling methods so now that I know better I will go for more protective styles using scarves and materials. Is there a method that has worked best for your when if and when used this items. Love you and keep up the great videos. Kay

Not to worry if your hair isn't long enough just yet. Hair that is short because of a recent big chop (and not becausethe hair is short because of damage) tends to be very strong and wont suffer the way older hair like mine would without some thought about styling.
