The thing I don't like, and usually don't from cover songs, is the fact its pretty "dead-on" from the original song,I prefer a little mix up if a covers played, do something different or original.

@Matthew9444 Your right it is a studio cover , Tribute has nothing to do with live or studio though.Since this was a Tribute cover of theSTUDIO version. Also it is a collaboration from Peru to California ,this makes it difficult to do it live . But .Live would be great especially since there was no real editing done Vocally . So YOU CAN safely assume it to sound the same ,Actually probably better . Real analog equipment. Peace Kurt

@linktronics nonono What i meant was cover a live performance like how zep played live. When played live this song got a few extra lyrics thrown in, a much longer solo depending on what year it was played and it had a much greater intensity and power.

I have no issue with you doing it in a studio, I'm sure you sound as good live as in a studio and that link you sent proves that to me.

Typically tributes: as defined are a compliment to the one being tributed to, thus the term. It was never attempted to be improved . It was simply musically played as written . you are perfectly entitled to your opinion, as am i. my girlfriend has led zeppelin live (i cant remember where they were live from) and they played stairway to heaven. i didn't like that version either as it wasn't EXACTLY like the original recording. daft, isn't it? but thats just the way i am. i know every note sung, strummed and drummed in that song and any deviance from the original just annoys me.

but like i said before, this cover is infinitely better than anything i could do.
