  • This may sound weird but watching this video makes me appreciate the fact that I speak english.

  • A camera should have just been constantly rolling on The Clash...

  • I didn´t quite get "Rude Boy". What´s the plot?

  • I could listen to Mick and Joe all day, seriously. Their music is so genuine, you can hear the passion so clearly in their voices.

And regardless of the slightly dodgy teeth, they were both damn hot too.

Rest in Peace, Joe. Stay free, Mick.

  • @EdNortonisMineLol lol, thats the way I feel. I love Clash since November, but week ago I fell in love with them. I feel sick

  • that is so embarassing!

  • @uzickimajmunac Why? He's a talented musician just one year away from making one of the most legendary albums of all time, nothing embarrassing about that

  • @PBANDSNOW nothing embarassing about that, true, but it is embarrassing to film you while you dance and sing without music.

  • Not Wessex Studios--that's CBS Sarl West Studios, London, formerly Island Studios. The Clash did not record at Wessex until the Cost Of Living EP sessions in 1979, more than one year after the Give Em Enough Rope tracking sessions.

  • grandes clashs eternos!

  • I love Joe's tummy and Mick's teeth.. Seriously, I do

  • I love Mick Jones voice. It's so nice to listen to :)

Love the part when he goes... "I!" <3

And Joe Strummer of course too had a lovely voice :)

    RIP Joe

    Stay Free Mick

    and Paul and Topper :P

  • your a fucking legend jonesy

  • Mick (L)

  • All you young bands take notes on how it's done.

  • @Knepperify1

"The new groups are not concerned with what there is to be learned."

  • @Knepperify1

    u're so right, man

  • Why ignore Ray Gange? He did a great job in the film and became a good friend to the Clash. Everything should be respected as a part of a video or film. If he's in it, he's not worth seeing? Good one. And is it me or does it sound like Mick has been huffing on some helium?

  • Mick, you're the man!!!

  • @XoxBelllaJXox We Brits, especially in those days had better things to do with our youth than walk around with a gobfull of wire braces - just 'cos your mummies want you to look nice like Donny Osmond.

  • @XoxBelllaJXox yes ,trhey get paid to maintain the teeth youre born with typical us comment shallow twats

  • @XoxBelllaJXox thats a shallow comment, Mick Jones had a profound impact on culture and music, and thats why video of him has been posted. Do you have "nicer" teeth than him, and does it make you feel better, by saying that? Like your claim to fame is "I have straighter teeth than Mick Jones of the Clash?"

  • @dpspac3 Well said!!! Im afraid its a sign of the times.......style over content......thats maybe 1 reason why The Clash are unique.......

  • piel de gallina

  • L.B.H.

    THANX

  • didnt they all go to same concert by the ramones thank fuck for the ramones the true punk fathers dont get me wrong i love the clash i wore there records out ! they took something and added there own twist never will we have groups like these again and thats such a shame think i might cry boo hoo

  • Oh wow, that's some epic footage.

    Love the ending fade out.

  • this is so epic!!!

    and i love mick's hair

  • I got a comment from someone saying I sound like this guy looooooool

  • mick jones sounds like a little punk bitch

  • hahah what? FUCK YOU BRO

  • lol bro?

  • "lol" yes...

  • .wannabe punk music? ok....wait. Let me dwell into my psychic side. I see you sitting in your rotatable office chair searching for only music by the exploited, sex pistols, and black flag, thinking you are representing true punks and....even though they are...true punks...they arent the only ones. Before you call the clash wannabe punks...you sit back and dwell on the FACT, that they are not wannabes....but originators and legends....dont COME here just to talk shit. FUCKTARD.

  • ..definetly wouldnt put the sex pistols (complete tools of malcolm mclaren) in that list, im thinking more along the lines of the stooges, velvet underground, mc5, id throw the kinks early records in there before these guys, lol and im not too sure about your rotatable office chair theory

  • look here dude. how the fuck...can you say these guys are fake punks or make fake punk music? the sex pistols' john lydon was a bit of an ass at times. but im still gonna stand strong and say that the clash are legends and some of the originators of what is known as punk today. all the ones you said are, too. i agree. and dude you gotta realize that i came at you like that because you brought that shit to a clash video

  • you do seem like the pretentious bastard that cares more about the language that somebody uses...and not the content.

  • the important content being FUCK YOU

  • important content being ur a punk bitch, and a bro, bro

  • its pointless to reply to disses on the internet but...honestly i couldnt let that one go. so...yea idk

  • @lkjhgfdsa123able dont talk shit buddy

  • ill speak my opinion but thanks

  • this ALWAYS gets me

    i miss ya joe

    and mick ur fucking awesome!

  • Godd, Mick is so cool.

  • Comment removed

  • haha i love mick at the end, just stares bleakly for a few seconds, then sparks his joint again, good man

  • I'm Lovin' Them!

  • Mick sounds a bit like Dylan :)

  • paul simonon is is great the only bollocks there are between his legs

  • Love them for eternity

  • Paul Simonon's bass playing on this song is just the bollocks, especially when you hear the basic backing track version here

  • paul was a great bassist

  • Don't think you and someone else understands what 'the bollocks' means - it means fantastic, great, brilliant. Us Londoners use it often...

  • Bollocks= nonsense!!

  • Let's have a lesson in London-speak here - if I tell you you're talking bollocks, yeah you're spouting nonsense, but if I say that the Clash's music was 'the bollocks', it means 'the dog's bollocks', meaning excellent. Awright?

  • step lightly

  • joe strummer has a fucking fantastic voice u culd tell he was putting his heart and soul into his music

    R.I.P Rock in Peace Joe

  • always.

  • "laugh cuz it aint much to cry for, live now cuz it aint much to die for". words of a legend

  • Cos years have passed and things have changed

And I move anyway I wanna go

Ill never forget the feeling I got

When I heard that youd got home

An Ill never forget the smile on my face

cos I knew where you would be

An if youre in the crown tonight

    Have a drink on me

    But go easy...step lightly...stay free

    GREAT......

  • Truely right!!!!

  • 1:16 who is that guy....he always on video with joe

  • Ray Gange

  • Is ray Gange in HellW10? There are no credits but it looks like him

  • That leg of Joe's is something else! :)

    Really feelin the music :)

    Thanks for uploading

  • Spot on!

  • Mick...I´ll wait all my life to see you. Mick, you are my life, I live just for you. I´ll never forget Michael Geoffrey Jones! I´m from Brazil, one day, I´ll travel to London, meet Mick. You are a macho guy! hahahaha! Love you forever!

  • come stay with me!

  • oh man this brings a tear to my eyes

    RIP Joe

  • mick jones' hair = awesomeness

  • bahaha I laughed so hard when I read that

    AGREE

  • @KOOPSAL wig?

  • Joe and Mick ... I love them both so much ... their passion is really clear here.

Rest in peace Joe! Stay free Mick!

  • go easy ... step lightly ...

otherwise, fuck off ys abunch of c*nts.

  • No way to qualntify this band caused at the time when I was 17. It was seriously palpable, and I was nowhere near them in Seattle. But I did see them twice, once in Vancouver, and another time opening for the Who. Clash the sequel where are you? We need someone this talented, honest, and political AGAIN.

  • that must have been the coolest concert ever!

  • Very cool! Your taste in music pretty much rocks! Joe strummer is an icon and inspiration for so many reasons. Upon his sudden death the world lost a pretty amazing musician and man. Best regards, Eddie

  • is it a movie or just real clips?

  • It's a documentary-movie called "Rude Boy". This clip and the other videos of the Clash in concert I have uploaded are real. You can learn more on wikipedia.

  • @claudiomajorana1986

    .

It's footage from the movie 'Rude Boy', and it is also footage of the recording of background vocals for 'All the Young Punks (New Boots and Contracts)' from Give 'em Enough Rope.

  • nice, nice

  • what a fucking terrible movie this is..... but so much great footage of the clash

  • Mick Jones signing Stay Free is amazing! LOVE HIM!

    2. just a dance he liked doing

  • thnx in thought rhythm

  • love this vid my fave!!

  • What, ignore Ray? I fell in love with him, watching this movie. Ole' tool. The little scene in the beginning with his girlfriend made me crack up. :] He has a myspace. It makes me laugh too.

But really, I love him. :]

  • love the clash. love the video.

  • you don´t mean we have to ignore paul, do you?

  • Of course not! I mean the guy at 1:20. He is Ray Gange, the actor playing the "rude boy".

  • @ki8ara U know ray gange was actually one of Joe's best friends

  • Comment removed

  • great scene!!!

  • Stay free clash fans

  • My favorite scenes from the movie are the ones in the studio.

  • Mick sound like he's singing higher than usual?

  • s'what i noticed, too. mmmm but i like this. i need rude boy.

  • good movie. worth a watch for any clash fan.

  • Hm, I disagree. Horrible movie. Only worth the watch 'cause of the concert and studio footage. My opinion, of course.

  • Yeah, Paul and Topper's bird-shooting subplot was loads more interesting than that wanker Ray.

  • it was.

  • these two songs mean a fuckin' lot

    in my life.

  • cool

    THE CLASH!!

  • good job! nice video!really sounds nice:)

    5/5 from me !

    thanks for post
