Animals sense when another is a baby, and are generally very accepting of them. When I bring a new pet into my home, I always bring in a baby of the opposite sex. Males accept females, females accept males. Makes for a happy house.

She was 9.5 years old. She was playing in the morning, lethargic by dinner, and died that night in our arms. It was sudden...it was not bloat..it appeared to be adrenal failure. She was 6 at the time of this video.
You can never forget having an Akita. I got her from the pound when she was 1 year old and nobody wanted her. She passed on Jan 1st 2010 from bloat. I don't really want to forget about her either. Just wish I made more videos of the crazy things they get into. The best 10 years of my life with that dog.
If the people below me REALLY thought that youtube would allow a video without being flagged of a kitten being eaten by a dog, then they're the dumb ones. Adorable video. Hopefully your sweet akita will never try to harm your adorable kitten.
@xkristixx It's with great sadness that I have to say our akita, Haiku, passed away last week. And just for the record, she and the cat were the best of friends and they hung out together. I have a similar pictures of the cat in the same position, only full grown. Our akita lived in a home with 1 other dog and up to 4 cats...she was incredibly socialized and a super sweet mom figure.
