  • I am delighted to say that I live in BLACKPOOL and this glorious building, the Tower and the 1935 Wurlitzer Organ is still there, and currently being restored. Sadly, Reginald Dixon is no longer with us. The Ballroom was almost completely destroyed by fire in 1956; but was lovingly restored and rebuilt soon after to (almost) the original specifications.

  • Somehow beats Ken Griffin all to heck!  Aren't we glad Blackpool Ballroom wasn't built in 1974!
