If you think about it, then lobbyist have less influence on Obama compared to McCain. It makes sense that Obama is more accountable to people than McCain is. I don't think that many people would have contributed only $1 to Obama campaign. How can you tell that 100,000 people only contributed $1 to his campaign? Obama has more than 1.5 million individual contributors. Also if you get time go to his website, then read the legal compliance for making a contribution.

Yes the big corporate campaign funds aren't as significant for Obama if he has more individual contributors, but the corporate lobbyist will still be there, and at any point Obama does need money or influence he can guarantee to get it from them.
