What an amazing job, my grandfather loved this song and every time he got the chance he would sing it and play it. This really really gave me some comfort after his passing, so thank you for the beautiful voice, I can really see you put your heart into this song when you were singing this. We need more true and real country artist like yourself.
My buddy, Jerry Laseter, wrote this song. Jerry is an awsome song writer and I am proud to call him my friend. We palyed in a band called Dirt Road Express back in the 80's before Jerry moved to Nashville.
Sweet playing on that horn--I've been playing the Gary Allen version on my old Sho-Bud but I like your version better. That "Buddy Who" comment made me wonder--are you using the Emmons copendant? Just wondering. Keep Steelin'!
This is an amazing song but kinda hard to listen to, I have lost someone to drunk driving and it is hard to hear those words. Beautiful job performing this.
Thank you for posting this! It is my favorite Ty song (well, top five anyway). I just saw him Sunday night at the Hard Rock in Nashville. My friend, Andy Hull, is playing drums with him now. Ty still sounds great - just like his records! His voice is the best in country music! Jim I am a huge Andy Griffith fan and I can't believe there is actually a musician named Jim Lindsey. So great!!!
HOWDY ?? is TY HERNDON still alive??is he still living??...dude i heared his song entitled "I KNOW HOW THE RIVER FEELS"damn so verry nice song,it makes me tears starts to fall every time I listined to it..is he still making album now?
I saw you guys play several times and loved your version of Little Banana Republic. I've had a crush on Ty for the longest time. Can't wait for his new CDs!
