fingertips are useful during makeup, but even with myself i dont think its real sanitary. i always have a bottle of antibacterial hand gel on my makeupstand and a little traveling one in my bag when i am applying or touching up because it disinfects and helps take off the makeup i have smudged on my fingers

I used to sell Mary Kay but now I love-love-love smashbox. They have good colors for darker skin (am Af-Am myself!) in tinted moisturizer, concealers and foundation. It was made to withstand photo shoots, so you know it will stay on and it lasts a long time! Hope this helps!

I hope I don't ever get invited to a party where that kind of makeup is required! To me that looks awful! I think what put me off too was that the artist used her fingers to do most of it from applying cheek color, the glitter, to lips. I am a trained Beauty Consultant and I feel that goes so against hygene and everything I have been taught!

I love this. The problem with people who comment videos is that they're used to seeing 'natural tone' makeup and they think make-up is supposed to be soft all the time. No. make-up can be used to change the way your face looks completely. That's why it's so fun. There's more out there than brown and beige. This isn't 'too much', it's dramatic and fun. I do different shapes and bold colors all the time. With proper application, anything extreme can look much better than natural make-up.

I don't think black, smokey makeup will look good on her skin tone, maybe on fair skin. It's just that it blends with her naural, black eyes. She's very beautiful!

And also, most of these stupid comments like 'ew me no likey dis make-ups lol don't put so much makeups on the eyes or u go blind!' is from people who really suck at make-up and put like, rings of black eyeliner and baby blue eyeshadow on and look like crap. This is quite fashionable; but I guess most of you wouldn't know how to create different looks besides black eyeliner and a bit of eyeshadow anyways. You need to be more open-minded. =)

I love this. The problem with people who comment videos is that they're used to seeing 'natural tone' makeup and they think make-up is supposed to be soft all the time. No. make-up can be used to change the way your face looks completely. That's why it's so fun. There's more out there than brown and beige. This isn't 'too much', it's dramatic and fun. I do different shapes and bold colors all the time. With proper application, anything extreme can look much better than natural make-up.

darn.. almost everything that was used except the glitter are water-proof... it might take days for her to take it off... i think this look is just a bit too extreme...

PinkChicken and emosareghey: Pafoua07 was speaking about the part of the vid when the make-up artist was putting glitter on the eyes and mentioned one should only buy "ophthalmologist-tested" glitter because "drug-store" glitter can actually cut the eye and cause damage...crazy, huh? ;)

Well, I like this video. I'm so tired of only seeing makeup tutorials for light skin, or white people. This is finally somthin that I know would look okay for darker skin.

i love a lady' s face is 100% purely natural face WITHOUT color crayola crayon lipstick, WITHOUT makeup chair, WITHOUT punch black ink eyes area, WITHOUT pull out hair eyebrows, and tattoo on eyebrows..her makeup is WASTE her budget and WASTE her time for nothing..also NOT wise at all..NOT worth it

I think the concept of this look is neat, but overall i think it kinda looks sloppy. I would have liked to see the glitter shaped better and the look more "finished".
