  • how much vagina can one expect to get once building an elite deck?

  • @Dubs427 That's hilarious. If your really looking to score some Vag though, check out my Vids on MTGO.

  • where is the life on the card

  • there are some cards with no cost of mana that i have but what part in this whole tutorial do you tell us that

  • I just learned how to play, my best friend gave me one of his decks that he got for Christmas

  • IM THE 10001 viewer!

  • Can you mix different decks together like mixing Scars of Mirrodin deck with a Zendikar deck so both players get different planeswalker's mana, spells, instants, and creatures? Or should they stay seperate?

  • 0:53 there are actually 10 basic lands in the game

  • can u cast more than 1 creature a turn?

  • now the minimum is 40 the max is 60 i think

  • Does it matter how much land is on the battlefield?

  • I'm trying to learn how to play this for my boyfriend. Omfg. -__-

  • @TheTaylormac123 Why doesn't he teach you how to play? Maybe he'll get to tap your mana.

  • I have no "Basic Land" cards..... is it still possible to play without it? PLEASE ANSWER

  • If you have no basic lands at all the only other way of playing is with either non basic lands or 0 mana cost cards. You need mana to play the game! It is like trying to play monopoly without money...

  • @wisird buy a land pack, fairly cheap and u can't play w.o them!

  • If you choose to have 58 mana cards in your deck and 2 creatures that would be legal but the chances of picking the creatures before your opponent kills you... not too good! Why do you ask?

  • @Dynorider2001 I've a deck with 52 lands, 4 treasure hunts, 4 zombie infestations, and 1 Emrakul, The Aeons Torn. It's very interesting to play with.

  • So what happens if I have 58 mana cards and 2 creatures, im being dead serious

  • Looking forward to the updates. I am hoping my son and I can learn together. Thanks!

  • @Spruce1968 Funny... my son and I are just learning about it as well.

  • That deck looks like it has like 100 cards

  • This is very helpful! My friends and I love Magic, but we weren't playing correctly We knew the rules slightly but still had fun, except the games always seemed a little unbalanced. Like my friend Kyle, who uses a blue deck, always kicked my butt because my Black deck, because he had more cards. But now we know the exact rules, so it's more fun! Thanks for the hard work, and awesome video!

  • Unless they've changed the rules of doing a mulligan, it doesn't matter what you have in your hand. You can have all land, no land, or a perfect hand. I know they've changed mulligan before. It used to be if you had no lands or all lands you could mulligan back to 7. I'm pretty sure they've changed that. Anyone know what the official terms for mulligan currently are?

  • Lol gettn ur opponent to zero life

  • better than how the offical website explains it

  • This tutorial its a good one, good job.

But, you start saying things that will confuse new players the first time they see it..

But, anyway, it's a good tutorial.

  • Please let me know what future videos you would like to see... and don't say "How To Maintain My Nails" :) Sorry I didn't realize my nails were a focus in the video but I will make sure they are presentable next time ok :p

  • NOTE: Some rules have changed since I made this video so I apologize for that!

    Mana burn no longer exists.

Since 10th edition in a multiplayer game you are allowed a Mulligan w/o a penalty once... then after that one less card is drawn each time. Yes you may Mulligan if you dislike your hand or mana is low or too much...

Terminology has changed a little too instead of "in play" it is "on the battlefield".

  • Hand size is maxed at 7 cards at the end of your turn. If you have 9 cards in your hand during your turn and you can play 2 of them before the end of your turn then you don't have to discard any. If not, then you must discard 2 cards at your discard step. The discard step knocks your hand back down to 7 at EOT. Cards like Spellbook alter this cap on your hand...

  • nice video

  • Please trim your nails next time, they're longer than mine and I'm a girl!

  • Also, a note on mulligans.

You MAY mulligan if you are unhappy with your hand, and the first mulligan is always free, thus you draw seven again, if you mulligan again, THEN you draw six, then five, then so on...

  • I have to say, that you are allowed to take a mulligan if you are not happy with your starting hand, so even if you have lands and other mana sources you can take a mulligan ;)

  • If the # of cards in the hand exceeds 7, does the player have to discard one? Can the player hold an unlimited number of cards? Thanks.

  • Never mind, I saw your lost video about the clean-up step. Great informative tutorial! Thanks!

  • nice fingernails lol

  • Yes some tournaments require a 40 card min but generally 60 is the minimum...

  • @Dynorider2001

Yeah, I suppose, but I am plagued down by my group of friends' House rule.

  • minimum fourty

    case and point: burn deck
