I think he used to love this more than we did, as he's have whomever was spinning for him mix this to death at times!!. No complaints here. I had my JVC box with the built in cassette tape player recording it as much as I could!

@khaliamoon I was born and raised in NYC. WBLS had Frankie Crocker, Ken Webb, Marion Etoile Watson and G.Keith Alexander who later went to work at WRVR. I had the chance to meet Les Davis and Angela Boffill
at J&R Music store when she released her LP "Something About You". I got a autographed copy of that LP. I also went to see Les Davis when he worked out of Michaels Pub on E.53rd St. near the post office and again when he was at 101 Greene St..

I got a chance to speak to him on the phone. I met Yvonne Mobley one day on my way to see my aunt at work. I remember Vaughn Harper, G. Keith Alexander and the whole gang. Frankie Crocker was the man. Controversial but he did things his way. Chuck Leonard had a nice voice. Loved him.

grew up listening to "The Chief Rocker, Frankie Crocker", Ken Web and all the other. This track was also
played on WRVR. I think that they were at 106.1fm. Les Davis and one or two of the DJ's from BLS were there as well.
