  • Eight people got some dues to pay before they can dig the blues!

  • @PatPowers1995 They may even need to go down to the Crossroads

  • fresh as the morning dew

  • Stevie was so humble about his playing to always let his stagemates step full in the starlight. Pure class. Never saw anybody like him

  • This video should have 50'000,000 views already!!!!

  • Johnny Copeland rocks too!

  • eight people don't know real music!

  • Shit hot!

  • Wish they had shown more of Copeland's lead. Camera was everywhere BUT on him playing...

  • oh yessssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!

  • One of the 'great's'.

  • love stevie, he shouldve kept the damn beard lol

  • I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO agree Bella3341 :-)

  • when you turn down a world tour with david bowie, before your first album even comes out, you know that he wont compromise, he was stevie in the begining, during, and in the end. He turns him down and keeps on keeping on with the milk truck and his real friends. do you think david bowie would have let someone take/share the spotlight for three whole songs. I bet not.

  • Does`nt get any better than this, Love it, can`t get enough of Stevie Ray Vaughan! Rock me all night, roll me out on the dance floor at dawn, turn it up, & I`ll dance to his music all day out on the lawn!

  • before this vid i never heard of johnny copeland, and if he can trade licks with SRV like this, im gonna start buying that cats music......

  • @garvess u fucking douche bag Johnny played with stevie ray for years and long b4 stevie ray so get ur shit straight

  • @MrEric3385 cradle my scrotum in your mouth.

  • @garvess i lold

  • I think if Stevie and Johnny had touched guitars at the end of that guitar dual the building would have exploded.

  • one poster said it best THESE GUYS ARE BEASTS!!!

  • This is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.... Period.

  • my dad has a band and he plays all kinds of songs but he never plays srv songs. i asked why one day and he said no one can make the guitar cry like stevie ray vaughan. this vid shows why. johnny copeland is good but stevie puts him to shame with the guitar solo.

  • Love it!!!!! Yes, they are it...... Ummm where is that music today!

  • Istina!

  • Stevie is my Elvis and so much more and as for Mr.Copeland is a true and for real blues man from the word go.God bless bolth, life will never be the same without them.

  • I am so jealous of anyone who's ever seen him live!

  • No words can explain how amazing this vid is.....

  • wow

    classic rock was so awesome

but the new rap and hip hop really sucks

    its always about fuck,bang,sex,love,and hatered

where is the real music now...........like they if they make some meaningful songs

    these songs were awsome

im really sick of all the new albums

  • What's the name of Ike's guitar ? It's damn fine

  • WOW lke Copeland is far fucking out!!And the brits think Clapton is the best.Damn S.R.V. Pissed all over him.R.I.P. Stevie Ray!!!!!!

  • Take this JUSTIN BIEBER, this is a really guitarrist!

7 people don't like this video.

  • its funny, right at 3:50 i guess a fog machine is in the background blowing smoke? but i easily mistook it as smoke coming from stevie's strat, cuz man he's on fire here!

  • I love this version...

  • I miss this man.....

  • 3.36 - 3.50 BADASS playing from the greatest strat blues guitarist of all time.

  • SRV Montreux '85 is some of the most raw and wild stuff I've ever heard in my life. Stevie Ray was from another planet. His studio recordings were fine, but it was in live performance that you got to witness his true gifts. His guitar work was channeled from a higher source. He didn't have to think about it. He played from his heart. Truly amazing.

Get the Montreux concerts on dvd while you can. Just remember that it was filmed 25 years ago, so it has that '80's look and is not in high def.

  • S.R.V..... so great. I could lay out blues history from Robert Johnston to B.B. King, to Eric Clapton.... to well S. R. V... but damn what a legacy!!!

  • He even let's Johnny take the first solo PURE CLASS

    SRV forever!

  • @paquitorivero u know why he did that cause he wanted to get inspired before he took his

  • Absolutely devastating guitar skills from both of them!

  • I can barely hear the keyboards. But it's always brilliant to see Stevie. RIP Stevie.

  • STEVIE GOT MADE FEELING IN HIS PLANING! RIP S.R.V!

  • why the problem with the language??i raised 2 great daughters alone .they watch this with me ,and jeez they turned out to be respected registered nurses,so just keep you kids in a bubble and let them watch the crap on tv.you are an ass in my opinion.

  • I would love to have seen him live :(

Hope to see him on the other side sometime though :)

  • steve forever in our hearts

  • Stevie Ray.... such a loving, rockin', fantastic artist..... missed but NEVER forgotten!

thank you for uploading ! 10*

  • Por favor destinar unos minutes para apreciar el Gran Stevie; la tecla; y el invitado y su fino laburo en esta cadenciosa musica de liberacion del Misissipi.

  • @bella3341 well said mmmmmmm

  • @bella3341 LOL, I know what you mean!

  • This Rules !

  • Love this vid! Johnny was one of the best at playing with Stevie. His style and awareness were great. You can tell Stevie loved it too. I sure did.......scratch that...............DO!!!! Damn. I miss Stevie!

  • Helllll no - my bad girl days are long behind me - but I had a really good time while I was at it. Watching him play was a religious experience.

  • I was there!! Damn we had good time!!!!!!!!

  • You're a liar.

  • They started out with Cold Shot and Cpland was cold, then Tin Pan Alley, Cpland was smokin' one of my favorite versions, then this,Look at Little Sister, Copland was on fire from 5:31 to 6:45, Stevie got out of the rythem and they melted together in a leed to die for.

  • Just love it when the guitar player breaks into a lead and the camera zooms into the piano player.. happens so often.. have the producers never seen an actual band???

  • They were stoned

  • My, my...WHAT a show! The audio is unbelievable and the band is HOT!

  • Great SVR and Jonny, looks like johnny mark time with elbow and gets hotter, is tremendous

  • love this tune...brings back great memories of living in Texas :)

  • No hay otra musica que entre en elma como esta. Stevie y Johny por siempre.

  • Guess he must have loved that riff he made up on the spot there eh?

  • I got to hear him and his brother Jimmy play many times around Dallas when they were young, well before Stevie Ray moved to Austin. Austin, Texas the birthplace of some great sounds!

  • only was lucky enough to see him three times.this is bad mother fucker music.just put a rap or hip hop band in front of them on stage and johnnet copeland and stevie ray would blow them off the stage stevie+johnney= dynamite!!!!! you young people get it please!!!

  • what's the deal with the video cutting away from johney when he really starts getting into it. oh well. great video, totally kicks ass.
