@GeneralChi - Yes, it is unfortunate, given the tendency of PETA to make statements that vilify people who don't conform to the beauty/size myth (and I know MANY vegetarians who are not the 'ideal' weight) or make irresponsible parallels between farming and the Holocaust, or some members who have made statements that are the food-politics equivalent of 'killing an abortionist is not a crime - it's preventing one'.
