I didn't think id like this movie until i heard ewan sing. im not sure if its his voice, but boy that is some sexy singing. either way i fell for the character ewan played, too bad he didn't get the girl, it broke my heart to watch him at the end. :-(

Moulin Rouge is underrated, the imdb score is somewhere between 7 and 8, if I remember correctly. I personally find this to be one of the true greats of all time. It is about an impossible love - which is a cliche to be sure - but you have never seen it like this.

@ErnilEnNaur I agree very underrated film. I tell people about it and they scratch their heads and dont know what Im talking about. Cliche love story to be true but done so unbelievably well that you're swept up into the drama . The ending is classic, haunting beautiful and tragic at the same time. What a finale.

Ewan McGregor has a beautiful voice and really great expressions and feeling, I could listen to his songs over and over the entire day (actually that's what I'm doing for almost two weeks now^^).

Nicole is really talented, too. I don't think many actors can combine these two talents, she and Ewan certainly do.
