For all of those who are truly sad about this...at least this animal was killed and eaten so that another could survive. I don't think these things should be kept in captivity, nor do I think live feeder mice are necessary, but at least this animal wasn't tortured and made to experience sadistic and prolonged pain.

Why not feed the snake pre-killed? Just wiggle the dead mouse and the snake will take it. Same results and a lot more humane for the prey animal. I know there is no doubt that I would feed a snake pre-killed and if like all the fcuk-heads who say that some snakes don't take pre-killed, well I would properly dispose of that snake back to nature. You can't just "adopt" an venomous snake. You need a special license in case the owner thinks it's a Python and puts it around their neck.

Here in the UK, you need to acquire a license to hold deadly animals, this includes banned dog breeds.

The snake will of most likely of been euthanized, or released into the wild.

You know what else is "the circle of life"? When predators actually make mistakes and miss their kills. Because their prey do often escape. There's also a rule that says "do not interfere".

Just wanted share that. It's both interesting and sad to see live feedings like these, but the whole idea of people calling THIS (a predator killing pray by the hand of humans) as something that happens in nature kind of rubs me the wrong way. Even the snake doesn't want humans around it.
