the prize was for raising awareness. There is no doubt that he has done this on a greater scale than any scientist.

I was very happy that Gore received the Nobel Peace Prize. Over the past few years, he has been spreading awareness about global warming, which is not a hoax, there is scientific evidence. I'm sure that all of the candidates for the award devote their lives' to noble causes, but the fact is, Gore has achieved more in a short amount of time through his (dare I say it) celebrity. "An Inconvenient Truth" inspired me to care about conservation and the way I live. Al Gore for President!

Al Gore won't run because--if by some chance he were to lose, he wouldn't be in as good of a position to campaign against climate change.

I used to like Al Gore but it's hard to believe anything he says now. Like the latest for instance, there were nine key scientific errors in his movie. This was ruled on by a judge on Wednesday.
