Never heard of SRW, and I've never seen Zone of Enders, so I can't make judgment calls on them. I've watched a few epis of MRR, and that's why it bothers me (that and it's illogical to let someone who hasn't even started puberty drive anything other than a go cart or bumper car).

In pokemon 10 years old are allowed to leave home and fight potentially deadly creatures, in Digimon the kids get thrown in another world with no survival training, Medabots are basically killer robots for kids. Dont get me started on Evangelion, and the list goes on.

Man, I gotta agree with you on this one even if I get thumbs down from people. I grew up with the older version of Machine Robo, it seems like today's trend for kids is to really tone down the violence though which I don't blame. But in the end they really take away from the style this show originally had.

This anime belongs to the Machine Robo franchise made by Bandai. The same toys where in the 80's used to create Gobots. They are made by the design studio PLEX, wich also designs the Power Rangers and Kamen Rider toys. So in a way you are right on the money. =)

Gobots and Machine Robo are totally different storywise though. Rom Stol would kick Leader-1's metal hiney.

you forgotten,the second one not only have Jay but Submarine robo too and instead of Jet robo assembling,it is the jet plane made by the 3 groups,and the go go rescue playing softly repeatingly in the background part(around 1:06) will be the transport robo.
