i had a plane and it sucked the first day it wasnt working and then it went out of controll and then it crashed so then i started using the helicopters and then what happend was it broke because it was winter and i dont really know anything about this stuff but that stinks and i had to return mine anyway so...
i share your pain , i crashed my yak 52 on 6-12-09 i was flying inverted and was doing a snap roll to close to the ground .i snap roll and snap my fuse in half. sucks. but we will fix it. it's a foamy.
Its a little larger and heavier so it was more stable in the wind but i havent got a whole lot of flights on it to make a good comparison, its a keeper for sure though, had a battery eject during a snap roll a few years ago on a smaller edge 540.. similar decent only landed rightside up.

how do you rate the edge 55 against the slick 51?
you were luck to have lots of elevator on when the battery ejected, it really slowed down the decent.

Woah, that was pretty cool, lucky there wasn't much more damage :-) Good 'ol duct tape will fix that, lol.
