Yes. You are correct. Conservatives simply have not looked at the numbers. The Wall Street Greed Index (the most cited economic index by scholars and experts) clearly demonstrates a massive Wall Street greed injection into the economy in 2008. The economy was unable to handle all this greed at once, and the financial sector collapsed. This was only made possible by the fact that every Wall Street executive suddenly became overwhelmed with greed at exactly the same time.
Ask any economist who told you to buy houses in 06 and Washington Mutual stock in 07, and they will tell you specifically that the exact cause of the financial collapse was a sudden unpredictable greed injection from Wall Street.
Oh, and also, there was a lack of regulation. The tens of thousands of financial regulations imposed by the Federal Government were simply not enough, and the thousands of regulators were not enough either. In order to avoid a future mess, the United States is going to have to employ a good hundred thousand more regulators to do the job. It would probably be best to employ the economy of a small third world country to regulate ours. Incorporting Haiti into SEC will stabilize the markets.

Yes. You are correct. Conservatives simply have not looked at the numbers. The Wall Street Greed Index (the most cited economic index by scholars and experts) clearly demonstrates a massive Wall Street greed injection into the economy in 2008. The economy was unable to handle all this greed at once, and the financial sector collapsed. This was only made possible by the fact that every Wall Street executive suddenly became overwhelmed with greed at exactly the same time.

The tens of thousands of financial regulations imposed by the Federal Government were simply not enough, and the thousands of regulators were not enough either. In order to avoid a future mess, the United States is going to have to employ a good hundred thousand more regulators to do the job. It would probably be best to employ the economy of a small third world country to regulate ours. Incorporting Haiti into SEC will stabilize the markets.

I remember an example of Sanjay Gupta disputing Moore's facts, but later on ended up having to apologize. I actually didn't see Bowling for Columbine. But instead of relying on the media I have researched facts on F 9/11 and Sicko and his facts are true. MM was met with attacks of being "anti-american", but now those same views that he was attacked for are mainstream because the failure of Bush forced people to open their eyes.

I just finished watching the PBS special on what happened before and during the banking melt down. I find fact finding and interviewing people who have a broader knowledge of the subject more valuable than generalizations. And I think about 65% of America thinks Bush was and is stupid.

Like this guys films have ever made a difference, they are one sided, i wouldnt say biased, but they are one sided. If anyone gets busted, and treated with the real side of the law, then good, but i think this is just moore using another big media story to make his own money.
