  • Cordoba can take a hit. great fight.

  • looked like a truly great fight, how bout rigondeaux? can he beat dunne? donaire?

  • What. A. Fucking. Day.

    And what a fight.

  • Nice 1

  • @UFC34 see I don't know how this possibly could not have won official fight of the year!!!!! I liked it better than Marquez-Diaz 1!!! even though it was a good fight this should've won fight of the year over that.

  • i got so drunk after the rugby i didnt sede it til sunday...... i was ragin

  • 2 brave warriors, this is why i love boxing........ this is boxing folks

  • I was at it.....Best Fight I've ever seen

  • Great fight .Well done Bernard Dunne .

  • 6:53 i was the first person to go ape shit XD

  • bernard and cordoba two absolute warriors! One of the best days in Irish sporting history. Bernard Dunne crowned champion of the world and Irish rugby team win the grandslam in the six nations!!! Wish I could relive it!!!!!

  • tremenda paliza le dieron al cordoba ese era para que se hubiera retirado del boxeo, y el arbitro que estaba en la pelea de rigondeaux llorando no estaba hay??jajaja

  • one of my fave fights of these last years,,,

im mexican and i admire the tremendous effort of these two warriors,

very good video for this great battle !!!

  • i have to say for excitement and well seat jumping action this has been the best fight i have ever seen two of the fighters can take a bow

  • this song is from rocky IV :)

  • @thatboyronaldo2k8 It sure is!

  • great fight !!

  • Man im sooooo proud to be Irish :-)

  • great fight but what a glass chin dunne has

  • @MrGloryglorymanutd18 Why don't you step into the ring with Cordoba for 11 rounds straight? Then you'll really see how much of a glass chin you have :)

  • Great fight... that was a real battle ... go on Bernard ye fucking animal!

  • @J801506 Yeah this was a great battle,it was a candidate for Fight of the Year, Cordoba can really fight! Good luck to him in the future, I think he'd take Steve Molitor's IBF title if he got the chance.

  • @celticcutiepie

What I love about Molitor's bouts is that he always fights at Casino Rama which is an hour away from my house.

But yeah, Cordoba would be an interesting match up. Molitor's a good boxer but not much power.

  • @J801506 I had Cordoba winning that fight, Rigo ran for 6 rounds. Cordoba has been ripped off before against Poonsawat, the man can't get a break! I'd love to see him win a world title.

  • @celticcutiepie

I can get him a world tittle belt, near my house at the 99 cents store they sell them.

You must be blind if you saw him win vs Rigo.

Rigo owned him and took him to the school of box :)

  • @ElciclondeGuantanamo Get one for Rigo while you're at it.

  • Comment removed

  • These two should move to the 126, shame on them fighting in that division with such bodies and height

  • @MrAfilao that's just fucking stupid! If fighters can make the weight then there is no problem. If Rigo can't handle tall fighters he is not the fighter you think he is. Look at Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym, he is 5'5", it doesn't stop him from beating taller boxers.

  • @celticcutiepie

I agree. But... 7th professional fight, the guys handled it pretty well.

He was scare just like a Coyote or Chacal or whatever sh*t but it was evident for everybody he won that fight

  • Rigo will be one of the greatest, but he needs to understand that this is not amateurs where you secure the winning in the first rounds and then start moving around letting the other guy come to you, that is what he did with cordoba. In pro he has to fight the 12 rounds because is what people like to see.

  • Rigondaeux won the fight and I have not excuses but he was not the boxer HBO made people believe, However Cordoba lost the best chance of his boxing life, I feel sad for him and me.

  • @eddypana Cordoba done very well. He should try to get a fight with Steve Molitor for the IBF title.

  • You are right ...we'll see what the future brings...Thanks Buddy.

  • @eddypana

I agree with you on that, he is not the type of explosive fighter like Gamboa, but has the skills to win the fights, people like to see brawls, blood and cuts... Boxing is an art, the art of hitting and not getting hit. period !

  • what a fight.!

  • Cordoba is going to beat Rigondeaux easily...El Maestrito made a mistake with Dunne but it won't happen again.

Cordoba is going to be Champ again is writing in the sky.

  • @eddypana I really hope so, Cordoba made a lot of fans in Ireland after the Dunne fight and I'm rooting for him big time. Come on Cordoba!!!

  • @eddypana lmaoo coman bro he isnt gna touch Rigon, that cuban kid is crazy he shoots really long, cordoba is good bt Rigon 2 time olympic champ u cnt touch him go watch his fights

  • My friends being an olympic Champion does not mean nothing, Open you eyes and you will see that Cordoba is great with over 40 fights and had been a Champ before, it is younger, faster, smarter, stronger, taller and with better boxing skills that Rigondaeux.

You will see in a few hours how you were lied by HBO.

  • @eddypana hahahaha i think you are dreaming, Cordoba will never forget this night, because tonight he is going to face the future of boxing(guillermo rigondeaux)

  • I feel sorry for you...because you have been brain washed by HBO's lies.

You DO NOT Know how good is Cordoba and tonight you will see it.

  • I will be laughing tonight when I remember you my friend.

  • @eddypana hahahaha sure, i will be back here in a few hours i hope you dont hide.

  • I'll be here waiting...jajaja but you will see that I was right.

  • @eddypana you see, i told you. the fight was good the first 6 rounds eventhough Cordoba was running away from Rigo during this time, the last rounds were boring, i think because Rigo knew he was winning the fight and he just wanted to secure the winning.

  • @valdesh2001

Brother it was a fight of man to boy. Cordoba was a giant not only taller but the body arms, everything bigger. They can say whatever they want, Cordoba was easily 15-20 pounds over Rigo's weight. It was also Rigo's 7th fight, he is still gaining experience and confidence and adapting to the professional boxing.

  • @eddypana

    Le dieron clase al maestrito

  • @ElciclondeGuantanamo Rigo is boring and overrated.

  • @celticcutiepie

    Boring?

El maestrico Cordoba was easy 15-20 pound s over at the time of that fight, it was a man vs boy fight or you guys are blind or what? Even with that and Rigondeaux practically zero experience in the pro, he outboxed.

It is not boring guys, Rigo have seen many fighters, brawlers indeed, they all go the distance when they receive those punches to the body in the first rounds. Those not going to the distance are been KOed or TKOed so far.

  • @celticcutiepie

  • @ElciclondeGuantanamo Hey mister Cuba, watch the above video. This is how PROFESSIONALS fight.

  • @celticcutiepie

Why couldn't he fight like that last night ?

It was the othe one style that didn't allow him to do it ?

  • @ElciclondeGuantanamo He fought like this because Dunne MADE him fight like this, he put pressure on Cordoba, he didn't run away from him for 6 rounds like Rigo did, this is why Rigo won an SD and why Dunne was the only man EVER to knock Cordoba out. See the difference?

  • @celticcutiepie

Rigo was after him the first rounds to make sure he was ahead in the fight even knocking him down with the body puch, I assume after Cordoba tasted it and didn't want to make a fight like the one above, and he propably thought Rigo would run out of gas in the later rounds, he even said it in an interview.. so maybe that was his fight plan, but anyways with all that experience all he did was get punched and couldnt do anything else. so too bad for him, its in the records now.

  • @ElciclondeGuantanamo Best of luck to Rigo but I think he will fall short in the pros. It doesn't matter though as you guys have so many good fighters already like Gamboa and Alexei Acosta who is based here in Ireland. I've seen him fight live 3 times. He is a very classy fighter who will be world champ very soon.

  • @celticcutiepie

Cordoba had all advantages, taller, heavier and more experienced, the only one he did not have was the betting odds, where he was the underdog...:(

Shouldn't that be a shame ?.. and hence the outcome...He lost, and the judge that saw him winning needs to have his eyes checked.

  • @santanatrucking Maybe he should move down to bantam if he can't deal with guys like Cordoba having a height advantage over him. He didn't look like he could deal with cordobas power either (who is not a huge puncher). One stiff jab and he ran for the remainder of the fight. Imagine what Nishioka or Poonsawat would do to him.

  • Gano aseres pero no sobrado corrio los ultimos asaltos cuando sintio la mano y si fue mejor que el Maestrito.

  • Rigondeaux will beat both these guys with out any trouble at all he is a great fighter they are no competition at all.

  • Ricardo leans in a lot when he throughs his jab. Rigondeaux will capitalize on that. He won't last past the 5th round.

  • espectacular

  • @dementexquisito while rigo is a class act hes 30 now so time is not on his side and the pros is completely different than winning the olympics

  • was talking to bernard the other day ha,

  • CORDOBA REMINDS ME OF CABALLEROS STYLE.RIGO WILL TAKE HIM OUT,HE THROWS WAY TO OPEN.

  • @dementexquisito I know about Rigondeaux, he was a brilliant amateur but this is the pros so we will just have to see how good he can be.

  • @dementexquisito It's BERNARD, not BERNAL!!! I still think Poonsawat would beat Rigondeaux, this is not the amateurs.

  • @dementexquisito "Bernal" is already retired, Poonsawat wil ko Rigondeaux anyway :)

  • great fight , 2 great champions , well done bernard be proud be very proud

  • can someone upload the dunne v walstad fight- it was a great twelve rounder

  • This man is the biggest hero in all of Ireland!!!

  • i was there

  • brilliant fight by bernard - saw him at 'one night in istanbul' show, at the grand canal theatre in june - was a gent - good luck bernard. YNWA

  • dave boy maccauley legenend commentator. ohhhhh

  • Savage video, very well put together! Unreal fight, had everything. Best of luck Bernard with whatever the future holds!

  • thats just fucking epic

  • best fight iv seen

  • fight of the year!

  • realy good fight he was just unlucky on his fight

against Poonsawat and he said he's gonna

com back in 2010 and will be Europian cahampion

  • One of the best fights of 2009. Best of luck to Bernard Dunne whatever he decides to do for 2010 and beyond.
