  • How many generations of cows had to be raped and confined and then butchered to line your pockets? All your interests are directed towards your own livelyhood, all the concern that you show is only to keep these slaves producing milk for humans to guzzle with no thought to the justification for it, none. I have to ask you how it would feel to see female members of your own family in this situation? What exactly gave you or your ancestors the right to take the freedom away from these animals?

  • the larger the farm the lesser the welfare conditions for the animals.

  • Not once did he show the actual milking of the cows. I bet that isn't heAlthy or humane. I'm not convinced

  • learn from other animals, they stop drinking milk when they start eating food!

  • Clearly, this family is doing their best to adapt to the US marketplace, which demands more for less $. Father & son appear not only knowledgeable, but also responsible in their approach to livestock care & related environmental issues. If you don't agree with them, don't buy their product. As consumers, we have the power to influence industry, everyday, with how we spend our dollars. Stop & consider the farmers & animals the next time you reach into the refrig for a discount gallon of milk.

  • What do you do with them at retirement?

  • If the owners of any dairy farm want to take a summer vacation I'd be glad to visit their farms at my own expense and take care of the milking and feeding chores for them while they are away for vacation. I can do this for one or two weeks. Contact me on my Google channel if you need my help. This is total voluntary. I've experience with milking a herd of 300 cows.

  • @parasad125

I also interested to visit any dairy farm, if you get any info about any farm near SF, who are allowing to visit their farm, please let me also know.

  • @bittubhau I've never been to California and know nothing about San Francisco.

  • I'm also a dairy farmer and I think it's good to have videos of dairy farms on here that do not harm their animals. Good job! And as for everyone else and their "you drink too much milk, that's why you're retarded" comments.... maybe they haven't drank enough milk. Do not bash the dairy industry or the farming industry... unless you do not want to eat ever again. Good job @BeefPasturetoPlate

  • keep it up, good job. man! I am a dairy farmer in Brazil, dont listen to these people that the only contact with animals are their dogs and cats.

  • This video makes me facepalm...

  • AT LEAST THEY DON'T HURT THEM THERE THEY LOOK HEALTHY AND WELL FED

  • Cows shouldn't eat corn. See the documentary "Food Inc", " fresh th

e documentary" or " King Corn" or look for polyface farms. Don't buy 2.99 gallon of milk at walmart, buy milk from a local dairy farm that you know keeps the cows where they are truly happy, in the pasture and not in feed lots. It is not just about happy healthy cows, it is about a happy and healthy you.

  • @alejonsu U know cows should not eat corn and Walmart does not buy milk from farms that keep cows in pasture. How do you not know that? Walmart is not the only place that sells milk. Milk is sold every where. Not every body can pay $10 for a gallon of milk to a farmer and you do not know that every farmer keeps his cows in pasture. It would depend upon if he has lot of farmland. Stop this nonsense about cows being unhappy if they can[t be kept in pasture or would be unhappy if they are milked.

  • So, it took so many generations to come up with such a poor dairy farm? That milk is bad, cows are not healthy they are not feeling well. You feed them with corn, the pasture is empty and the feed lot is full.

  • The cows r not happy , wat a joke.

  • whats on the menu ?

  • Thank you for all the attention, everybody! It's been very flattering! But i simply don't have time to be responding to all the endless replies from all the fat asses, who apparently haven't got a life.

  • @Rapprochement123 It's people like you that make vegans look bad. If you want others to not drink milk, you shouldn't talk to them like they are below you. I'm vegan, but that doesn't mean I'm going to call non-vegans bad names. You should try explaining to them why it is bad to drink milk instead of yelling at them. No one is going to be open to a non-dairy way of life if all of the people that they run into that don't drink milk act like complete jerks. You're ruining it for the rest of us!

  • @Rapprochement123 Well you certainly had time to come on my channel, insult, threaten and leave nasty comments on my videos! then block me?! Very mature! You really are over emphasizing that you have a life, what a sad act!! If you don't have the knowledge or manners to get your point across properly just keep your mouth shut! must be the lack of 'milk' getting to your brain has caused you to make a fool of yourself!

  • -

Rapprochement123- If you don't want to consume dairy products...uhm dont! Why on earth would you be cruising youtube dairy vid's if you don't agree with dairy production???

  • Hey -

    Rapprochement123-

What's beautiful about this country (USA) where this farm is located, you don't HAVE to consume dairy products if you dont WANT to.

It's a cool concept of free choice.

Your rhetoric reminds me of a nice analogy.."a conservative person decides not to consume dairy because they don't like it" "A liberal tries to outlaw dairy because they don't like it"

  • @renaizzance See, people like u are so typically cowards! U want to argue against me, but you don't dare to talk to my face. Why not click 'reply', instead of talking behind others' back or talking with yourself? No balls and no guts, cos you drink too much milk, that's why you have become an idiot, a fat ass and a fag!

  • @Rapprochement123 It is comical that when a loon doesn't like something (dairy in this case) they try to make the case to outlaw all dairy just for them. Meanwhile, the rest of us who process thoughts on a more rational level simply do not partake in things we do not like.

By the way, I really enjoyed the 4th grade name calling routine. Long Live Loons!

  • @thbushue O, you mean to process thoughts on a "selfish level"? Go and be greedy as much as you want! Nobody was talking with you!

  • @Rapprochement123 No, I mean I would never allow caging of Panda Bears! That is the worst example of a human being who would ever enjoy watching a Panda kepts in a cruel cage! Selfish and ignorant!

  • @Rapprochement123 This is a perfect example. If you are such the great person that you make yourself out to be, you would not be using terms like "fag". It'd be better if you said nothing at all.

  • We live in Yakima County, WAshington where the first case of "Mad Cow" was found. The dairy industry made it legal to bury their sick, then dead cows on site. Government has ignored pollution until EPA came and is testing polluted wells. Dairies are more important than human health. Cut their government subsidies; make them sustainable. Dairies are destroying and depleting our drinking water. Our air is putrified with cow manure. Polluters need to be held accountable.

  • It has been scientifically proven that the protein found in milk, called casein, is cancer-inducing. And milk also causes osteoperosis, and other disorders, ironically. There r higher rates of such osteoperosis in countries with high consumption of milk. We have been indoctrinated by the milk industry way too much. Animal milk is simply not suitable for human consumption.

  • @Rapprochement123 You dont drink milk and ironically, your talking through your ass. Milk is the grear!! love it

  • @Tullyvernon U should go back to school! Can't even write basic english properly! You have drunk too much milk, and that's why you have become such a retard!

  • @Rapprochement123 Thankfully for my job i dont need to be able to write basic english properly, so im good thanks, and didnt know this was a spelling competion! what kind of a come back is that anyway! Just because you dont like milk, doesnt mean anyone else cant drink it! Stop trying to ram your opinion down everyones throat!! Why are you watching milking vedeos anyway?? strange being!

  • @Rapprochement123 Just noticed your reply!!! Have to seriously question your knowledge of anything when the best reply you can come up with is to talk about my spelling!!

  • A video that shows how a good dairy is run.

  • I am shocked by what I see in some of the comments on this video. Of course the milk of another species is meant for the young of THAT species. Of course the cows do not produce the milk out of generosity and the desire to feed the human race. In fact, the dairy cows produce the milk because they are kept continuously pregnant. And they produce more milk than the calf can use because we pump them full of hormones to create that effect. The blissful ignorance of some ppl amazes me.

  • 98% dairy farmers do not pump any hormones into cows for if they do the company who buys it can find out and will get less money for the milk

  • Can you please provide a source for that percentage? I would like to read it.

  • matee i bet its like 99% not many farmer want to doo that to there animals tho init :) we love our animals more than you vegan twats do :L! if no1 drank milk, ate beef, pork, lamb, chicken, eggs, these animals would simply disapeer of the face of the earth !!! iff u expect to see happy cows and calfs byy stopping drinking milk itss just not going to happen u nieve people !

  • Mcphlange, In response to your comment about farm animals disappearing from earth if we did not consume them or their byproducts...

we do not consume elephant, lion, giraffe, eagle, manatee, and most other species on this planet, and yet they are still here. How is that? there are people who would strive to protect farm species for biological reasons (species diversity, etc).

  • yeahh but there wild animalss arnt they LOL, you couldnt breed holsteins/freisians/brown swiss./erseyy's etc,, because they make far too much milk for their calfs,, therefore they would have to be milked, wich then defeats the object. Cows are not wild animals,, there would be noo such thing as a black and white cow without human intervention !!!!!!

  • You seem to think that genetic manipulation of species for the sole purpose of later exploitation is okay? And again, I did not say that those who would care about the loss of the species would not take their manipulated genome into consideration as an aspect of their care.

Those who care for animals are not unintelligent, as you seem to think. They are simply more compassionate in addition to their intelligence.

  • I dont think people who care for animals are un intelegent ?? i myself am i dairy farmer !

  • LMFAO :L !! have u ever even been on a dairy farmer u stupid vegan twat :L?

  • I have visited several dairy farms actually, as a part of a research project I am completing for my environmental studies minor. Have you ever done any research?

  • Humans claim to be the smartest animals on earth, however they are the only ones that think they need to lactate after childhood, and that think they have the right to STEAL milk intended for someone else. It's disgusting.

  • and who is this milk intended for, and dont say the calf because a calf can never drink the amount of milk that a dairy cow produces.

  • A calf could never drink the amount of milk a dairy cow produces because they make them over produce. If it was like nature intended, the calf would drink exactly what he needs.

It's the same with every other mammal, and to say otherwise is really ignorant. Can't you reason at all? Human milk is for humans, cow milk is for calves.

  • wow you are dumb and go job shadow a real farm before you talk bullshit

  • there would be noo such thing as cows if people didnt want milk/beef beause they would all still be wild bufalo and wild cattle. soo you are the ignorant one !! youve never even been on a dairy farm :S soo really just be quite andd go find sum soya beans

  • If it was you, would you rather exist only to be raped, exploited and murdered or never to exist at all?

I have been to dairy farms, I have relatives who own cattle. Oh and learn to spell before writing nonsense, make it a little bearable. Ignorant.

  • cows arnt raped or explioted,, ok maybee the are 'murdered' if u want to put it like that. But ii have never seen a cow beeing raped ?? a cow will not let the bull mate it unless shes in heat ' therefore wants to repoduce'!!! and the cows love coming and beeing milked after a hard doy out at grass, soo i see no exploitation or rape ?

  • In reply to your comment about cattle being "raped"... I believe porolita was referring to the artificial insemination that is a common practice within the beef and dairy industries. Please message me if you would like references to back up my statements about it being "common practice." I can provide many.

  • Whats wrong with insemenation,, Many of our heifers dont even need a crush to AI them ! u can walk right up to them and inseminate them in the feild,, if they diddnt want it to happen they wouldnt let you !!!! the cows love farmers and farmers love their cows !!!!!

  • @ Mcphlange

It is assuming for you to say that a cow "wants" anything, as a cow is incapable of consenting.

it is also a generalization to say that farmers (I assume you mean all of them) love their animals. I am sure that some do, but I have met many who couldn't care less about their animals as long as they continued to make a profit. Most big meat producers like Tyson fall into the profit before respect for life category.

  • no farmers would make a profit if they did not care, because they would have bad milk/mastitis, poor quality beef, bad housing enviroment disease etc. CAring for the animals=Profit !

  • I really hope you are not serious. A factory farm makes more money when it confines thousands of chickens into dark, disgusting sheds without sunlight. Beef, pig, and poultry farms make more money when they add hormones to their animal's feed to induce faster growth or when they cut off their tails, beaks, testicles, ears, etc without anesthetic to prevent them from chewing them off or pecking each other to death due to stress and overcrowding. Those things are not kind, they are for profit.

  • i agree with you there !! many factory farmers are discusting, howver as a good farmer i really go not include factory farming when i talk about farming in general. and we are talking about cows here, I understand how bad the pig and poultry industry is. I think its terrible!! However as dairy farmers we are in it for the long term! poultry egg farmers have there birds for a year terefore do not care! we have ours for up to 10-12 years therefore we have to care to make profit :)

  • I would have to disagree. Many dairy farms treat their cows very badly, and the longer lives the animals live just means that they suffer MORE than those on factory farms because there is no quick end to their suffering. I can provide links to undercover video footage of several dairy farms treating their cows horribly. Message me if you would like them.

  • nah its ok, ive seen thm on youtube. The thing is, people generally only video farms if there is something out of the ordinary going on !! 99% of farms treat animals very well, because people treat cows like family !

  • Additionally, if a dairy cow gives birth to a male calf it is typically sold into the incredibly cruel veal industry. And when dairy cows are too old to produce a profit, they are often sold to slaughter. I do not drink milk because I do not want to support such industries, and the dairy industry supports them.

  • not always, most of our dairy bulls are reared outdoors and have a good life. They live for over a year before they are humanly killed

  • by the statement "humanely killed," are you referring to euthanasia? If you are, I would like to point out that such is a rarity in the dairy industry. Euthanasia renders the meat of the cow inedible, and therefore the producer cannot make a profit from the cow's death. And no business person would lose money paying to have his cows euthanized and disposed of if he can make a profit rather than a loss.

  • @Mcphlange Even if your bulls are "humanely" killed, there are many others that aren't. Supporting one section of the industry is supporting it all - directly or indirectly.

  • @Mcphlange Even if the cows are "healthy", that doesn't mean they are "happy". I am pleased to see that you do seem to really care about the cows, but it is important to realize that there are many people who don't care about "their" animals... I think you're love for what you do makes you believe that everyone feels they way that you do. I wish that was true, but, unfortunately, it is not.

  • @xxsuperxrad respect for you, sir.

  • you are definitly wronge when i milk cows at my sisters farm, if we are late for milking the cows will go crazy and line up at entrance ready to get milked because they are full of milk and it hurts them if we dont milk them also we have a bull to naturally breed cows so then she will give birth to a calve and she will have more milk

  • vegan twat

  • Good work. I like to see a family that has understanding for every member. You are a good dad. Keep up the good work.
