  • "There's probably no God"; "It *probably* won't rain today"

I love how this group of atheists were forced to admit that they don't know whether there is a creator or not, & the word is "creator", cos this isn't about religion. Until science can explain consciousness, atheists r wasting their breath.

Dawkins thinks people r so simple-minded that all he has to do is implant a new "meme" into their heads & that'll do the trick.

"enjoy life" - talk about patronising!

    I'm agnostic!

  • Come to my house. place what ever you want.

  • power call god is an emotional attitude , faith is a sickness

  • hey i am a yank but i will contribute - a few years til i can contribute here - it just wouldn't happen here yet - but maybe i am just being a wuss...

  • I am not sure I like Atheist propaganda, although I am myself a strong Atheist. But I demand the end of any religious propaganda on public spaces.

  • @wollin20 1/2 BTW, I am not convinced by this slogan which seems superficial: It looks like another faith created to justify a form of hedonism, promoting an egoist way of enjoying your life because, hey, we don't really think there is much to understand. Well, atheism is not an indifference to the quest for a meaning of life/death or morality...quite the contrary! Atheism IMO should also be a quest for truth if it wants to replace religions,

  • @wollin20 2/2 a humble quest whose honnest answers might just approximate the goal.

    I suggest instead:

"Trust your intelligence. Stop believing. Start questionning."

  • I am all for the atheist side but if the bus company allowed this advertisement, they would be equally allowed to advertise any of the competing religions. You dont want to start that. I think the bus company made the right choice

  • Note the recent gagging of Andrew Bolt? Us Christians are used to being silenced already. Now it is your turn. Laugh with me will you. It has gone the full circle, don't you think so? smile.

  • @10battalion10 I wouldn't say Christian are being silenced. The ACL has a lot of power when it comes to government.

  • @Villainy03 Hi, I think that is democratic. Each lobby group contributes. I am not against Atheists. Some of our greatest men were once athieists like C.S.Lewis. But if you wold be honest about "being silenced" wouldn't you have to agree that the worm has turned? I mean politically incorrectness used to favour the unbeliever? Now, after seeing the -bus episode- I get the impression that it now affects you chaps. No agro. Just my observation regards.

  • Is it even legal to deny them advertising space?

  • @bogartnumbertwo Yeah it is. The things you advertise can become connected (in peoples minds) with your business. So if you own a family-friendly restaurant and you own a billboard out the front, you can refuse, say, condom advertising.

  • @bogartnumbertwo Although....this is PUBLIC transport. Wtf?...I don't think the government should be allowed to do that...

  • There is not much point advertising atheism in Australia when most of us are already atheists. There is a couple of loonies with beliefs though who get far too much influence.

  • @TheElfdreaming Well, we will see with the census tommorrow how atheists there are, I'm sure there will be more than before.

We have an atheist prime minister Julia Gillard, she lied about a carbon tax, her popularity plummeted when she announced her religion, it's no wonder atheists are one of the least trusted people in the world.

  • And yet, the Sydney papers reported yesterday that the Muslims are allowed to have a sign stating "Jesus: A prophet of Islam".

  • @THEBIGCAGEY But where have Atheists been all these centuries? Why the sudden jolt to spread Atheism?

  • @73geneva because now we're at a time in history where we won't be put to death (not by the government or the church, anyway) for denouncing religion.

it's not been that way forever, though brave and reasonable people pop up throughout history, questioning societal mores which they had been indoctrinated with all their lives.

  • @taffysaur Atheists claim the world has been in existence for millions of years, yet they are suddenly aware of reality. Some of the greatest leaders in the world were atheists; Ceasar, Nero, Alexander, Hannibal, Napoleon, Mao etc. Atheists have always known they have nothing to say and that's why they've been quiet all these centuries. Christianity is the only belief where people are willing to travel to any lenght to spread what they believe because it's the only hope for mankind.

  • @73geneva Christianity is the only hope for mankind? Bollocks mate.

Did Christianity give us medicine? Did Christianity give us electricity? Did Christianity take us to the moon? No. Science did.

Christianity is a poisonous, prehistoric, immoral ideology.

  • @RSVJosephV OOH FUCKING RAH

  • @taffysaur says "because now we're at a time in history where we won't be put to death (not by the government or the church, anyway) for denouncing religion."

Well lets hope Sam Harris never gets into government to promote his religion. He said "Some propositions are so dangerous that it may even be ethical to kill people for believing them. This may seem an extraordinary claim, but it merely enunciates an ordinary fact about the world in which we live."

  • Why believe in something you can't see, there is no point.

But i do know that people can be possessed by some kind of demons (seen some vidz) if the place and time is wrong.

And poltergeist, they do exist - sometimes as firm energy that can move objects and some drifting spirits known as ghosts.

But there is no "God", otherwise we would've seen it allready.

    Simply reality...

  • Its sooo annoying that people have to be babied because people believe in no god! It goes back to when we were children and angry to find out santa isnt real. Oh my people wake the fuck up!!!

  • I'm tired of seeing "Jesus love you like it or not"bumper stickers and I'm going to release"There is no devil and there is no god like it or not" bumper stickers and let's watch them squirm.hehe keep your eye out for them.:-)

  • why make a campaign about something you dont believe in????? o_0...its quite insane if you ask me.

When i was kid, me and my sister lived in a house and we would see demons in our room. Both of us saw them so it wasnt a mind trick. Thats why I believe in god, if theyre demons there has to be a god.

  • I don't get how the community approves fundie signs that say "BE WITH US OR BURN!!!!!" but rejects atheistic signs that say "Maybe not.".

  • Isn't that discrimination in Australia? If you can advertise for a church, any church, then why not atheism? Call out the LAWYERS!!!! There's plenty in America. Hey I have a friend in Australia, I'll hook him up with a great discrimination lawyer!!!

  • Jesus said worrying never added a minute to a man's life. Jesus helps with worry if one has it if they are a believer. what are they talking about on the bus????????? at least they said probably?????? no nerve to say definitely Pansies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Australia LOL what a joke.. Do people still believe in god there? Last time i heard god wouldn't turn his own church into a rubble and kill the folk of a town called "Christchurch". This town remembers me the movie "28 days later". It's full of diseased christzombies and need immediate medical treatment.

  • @TuranDursunCom Completely different country, it would be like United States and Canada being the same country. Although I can see how you mistake them being the same country, they're on the same island after all. But Australia and New Zealand where the earthquake occurred are on completely different islands, they just happen to be reasonably close in the Southern Hemisphere. But you'd have a better chance swimming to Papa New Guinea then New Zealand.

  • im sure if the islamists had there own advertising campaign, australia would bend over backwards to accomedate there sensitivities. religion is holding back free speech to suit there own agenda. they fear us, as there are many church going atheists that just need a nudge in the direction of reason. the astrological sun gods are dieing and they know this.

  • should i like this or dislike this? I'm atheist

  • Obviously, we need a republic with a constitution guaranteeing the right to free speech so this kind of private sector censorship can't happen. I presume APN Outdoors is running scared. I feel if our young men and women are willing to put their lives on the line overseas to promote freedom we should not slap them in the face by the cowardice of denying it at home.

  • @MrScienceandReason All scientific evidence and evidentual proof shows that you are a "Fool"

  • @cdmoza Been away on holidays, read your reply. Very good. Insightful; educated; well posed. You must have put a lot of effort into it. Cheers.

  • How does it feel not to have the right NOT to use public space to voice your idealogical views? Sucks right? Yeah!

  • I hope this decision is overturned. In Indiana (USA), the city of Bloomington was forced last year to accept an atheist bus ad campaign due to laws promoting the freedom of expression. I hope the same occurs in Australia, and I'm very surprised atheism has hit this roadblock there.

    Good luck from America.

  • @poolopis01 actually, our prime minister is an atheist

    good luck from Australia :)

  • This mainstream atheism is pretty much just about crushing the dreams of theists, not suggesting a new view. And it's kinda pathetic :\

  • Desperate attempt to stop the spread of Atheism, futile as usual.

No one can stop the truth. Religion will die. Nothing they can do about it.

I sorta feel sorry for them.

  • @atheistkyo, stop the spread of atheism? 2 many atheists have turned a mere belief into a religion. I feel sorry for atheists - who no longer think! Just like religious fundamentalists, "atheists" say they're right & when u try to argue ur point, they don't want to know.

Until science can explain how particles moving create conscious experience - i.e., the flavo(u)rs I taste, the colo(u)rs I see, the sounds I hear, the pain I feel, my sense of self, etc - the notion of a creator will continue

  • @atheistkyo, tell me the difference between an "atheist" and a "non-atheist"? Atheism is merely the belief in no creator - that's it! It is NOT a synonym for "humanitarian" - i.e. a euphemism for "angel from Heaven" - and believing there is no creator doesn't automatically make you a polymath or intellectual.

STOP the lies and STOP turning a simple belief into a new religion. Atheists are no more moral, intelligent, or happier than anyone else. End of story!

  • Media-led story, surely. I can see how , some logical steps on, how losing church-members may become a problem for some interest groups. Not how a song 'got away with' a similar message. What happened to Marshall McLuan anyway?

  • It was rejected in Australia since it is false advertising. There is no evidence or proof that atheism is accurate or correct. "Probably" no god? these guys aren't even atheists they are agnostics, thats a much safer positionn to be in.

  • @ozredneck22 I've seen billboards quoting bible quotes. Obviously ne evidence there either.

  • I thought the Aussie's were a bit more down to earth. I would have bet money on Australians really going for this.

  • LOL!

  • The flying spaghetti monster is the only way to see the light

  • @HOLDTHAPHONE the only way is to laugh at them mock thr beliefs in front of them and make them realise how these religious scumbags r inferior to us in all aspects laugh at them all d time

  • @thescorpionking2020 May the flying spaghetti monster bless you

  • @HOLDTHAPHONE Have you seen him too?

  • @HOLDTHAPHONE How dare you infidel! Repent in the name of the goddess (Invisible Pink Unicorn).

  • Comment removed

  • If religions are allowed to advertised why not us atheists?

  • Ok put it this way, you don't want others to push their religion onto you, then don't push your atheism onto others. Its just pathetic, I don't care if your an atheist and don't try to convert people who believe in god.

I believe in god, I couldn't care less what you think nor am I going to tell you that you must believe in god. My point is, Don't call "atheism" an association, its a belief. Just like christianity, muslims and Hindus.

  • @Mcmerc01

tell that to your fellow theists preaching on street corners and infringing on my secular freedoms.

  • @newfagscanttrif0rce I'm sure you people tell them enough, frankly i find people like that to be slightly crazy. But since when did two wrongs make a right? As an atheist, i thought you'd know better than me- a simple minded christian

  • @Mcmerc01

No, preaching hell fire to strangers is evil and wrong. Pointing out that religious belief is junk is right. You people make scientific claims about the universe and claim to know the mind of god. You are rightly free to make these claims but I am going to tell you why I think they are dumb.

  • @newfagscanttrif0rce Religion- is faith. People have had it since the dawn of man, it is not wrong, to have faith is like being smart, you either have it or you don't. I have never met anyone claiming to know the mind of god. I'm a christian, I believe in god, doing what has been done is just as bad as a muslim extremist, or a christian extremist for that matter. Have you ever heard of scientology? Same thing. Life is too short to argue about religion, don't try and change anyone's opinions

  • @Mcmerc01

Stop repeating yourself. You, as every other single christian, claim to know that not only is there such a thing as god, but also that it wants to be worshipped and cares about you. Do not insult me by claiming this is NOT knowing the mind of god. Yes, religion is based on faith and faith alone. Faith is the most overrated of 'virtues'. To believe something without evidence is not noble. Life is short, but you people claim there is an eternal afterlife. Your closing statement is weak.

  • @newfagscanttrif0rce you see, Its not my closing statement, its just a point I'm trying to make. I don't need to CLAIM there is a god. Because as far as I and many million other people are concerened, there is. You see there is a god, to those who believe in it. There simply is no need for science behind it. religion is based on faith FULL STOP. it matters variably to different people.

  • @newfagscanttrif0rce And as far as I'm concerned, I'm not sure if there is an eternal afterlife. There is no need to bring in what is noble or not either, because in fact, thats not for you to judge or to be judged. Someone could be a hero; he/she could have a double degree and a masters, donates millions to charity. In other words, he/she is seen as a good person or "noble" Now that doesn't matter if they believe in god or not. No one has the right to throw their beliefs onto others.

  • @Mcmerc01

Ok, fine, you keep your faith in your loving god but keep the rest of us out of it. Close down the ACL, make the religious organisations pay full taxes, stop interfering with science, gay rights, reproductive rights and our secular freedoms. Play with religion in your own home, fine - but keep it to yourselves. Furthermore, making a claim that god exists and he made stuff is a scientific claim, why should it be immune from criticism?

    Only sheep need a shepherd.

  • @newfagscanttrif0rce First of all, I was never in jeopardy of losing my faith in god.

Thing is, I never said atheists were bad, nor did I say having a faith is superior. This is what you are constantly doing, personally attacking a faith. And your talking about being noble? I believe in god, but then I also believe two homosexual people should be allowed to marry. There are things that I don't understand in religion one way or another. I was just saying its no good to be so blatant and crude.

  • @Mcmerc01

You believe gay people should marry yet yahweh (the god of your bible) clearly condemns it. See? You are a good person despite your religious beliefs. Your moral compass is greater than the god of the bible!

  • @newfagscanttrif0rce I have faith in god. Yet I don't believe everything I read in the bible, nor do I entirely agree with the vatican. But at the same time, I still think there is a god; A god whom I wish god be portrayed as. So I Don't think I'm atheist. I'm Christian because I believe in Jesus. But that's it...its very hard to contemplate.

  • @Mcmerc01

Why do you have faith in the god of the jews and jesus? Why not in Osiris or Thor? I daresay you were raised as a christian. Why have faith in an extraordinary claim with no supporting evidence? Do you also believe in astrology, homeopathy and acupuncture or are you sceptical? You just admited that the bible is wrong in places - why can't it also be wrong about miracles, god and jesus? That is by far the most logical explanation. It is a man made text.

  • @newfagscanttrif0rce Because I simply chose to believe in god and Jesus. That's all. The bible may be incorrect, your right; its a man made text, but it was not written by Jesus himself. It was dictated, many times. in fact, the bible we read today is barely related to the original bible. I believe in everything you stated above, and I believe it could possbly be wrong about miracle, god and jesus. But I believe In god and Jesus, and I believe in Miracles.

  • @Mcmerc01

My question still stands. Why do you believe in yahweh, jesus and miracles?

  • "We are not criticising religion" ... BS!

Also do sense a hint of hipocricy between "Atheism is not a religion" and "There is a rejection of atheists having their name out there"

  • @atomicmrpelly How can atheism be a religion? It's the rejection in the existence of god or gods? nothing more. would you consider the rejection of the flat earth theory a religion?

  • @Daneoid81 I never said it was, I was pointing out the hipocrisy of making that point and then complaining about atheist groups being treated differently to religions.

Frankly though I'm not sure what either party thinks they will achieve by putting a message on the side of a bus.

  • Take back Ken Ham!!!

  • @baldurus1 ROFL!!!!!

  • if we are living life like there is not God we better be right!!!

    love

  • if we are living life like there in not God we better be right!!!

    love

  • I hear they're trying to do this in North Korea. Cross your fingers

  • "become angry at those who've accepted it thus this happens"

Atheists have to really think about things, our beliefs have to make sense before we believe them. We get narky because the religious are lazy and pompous (in that they just claim to "know")

"people believe in God because there is a God shaped void"

Yes I believe Karl Marx said the same thing, only he characterised it as an opiate. Take your soma if it makes you happy, just don't kid on that your choice is a rational one.

  • @ma049 "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, just as it is the spirit of a spiritless situation. It is the opium of the people. The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is required for their real happiness. The demand to give up the illusion about its condition is the demand to give up a condition which needs illusions..." (continued)

  • @ma049 "The criticism of religion (...) has plucked the imaginary flowers on the chain not in order that man shall continue to bear that chain without fantasy or consolation, but so that he shall throw off the chain and pluck the living flower. The criticism of religion disillusions man, so that he will think, act, and fashion his reality like a man who has discarded his illusions and regained his senses, so that he will move around himself as his own true Sun" --Karl Marx

  • @ma049 People always mention the "Religion is the opium of the people" quote without actually including the rest of it, which is far more poignant and brilliant altogether. So I felt obligated to include it here.

  • Ridiculous! No such thing as Free Speech in Austrailia!

  • people believe in God because there is a God shaped void in each of us that cannot be filled by anything except God. People try to fill it with drugs, sex, their job, anything that can be found in the world but nothing quite does it that is why you are always searching for something better, a higher state of being, something more, deeper, purposeful and that is the tug from God so you look for him and if you deny it you become angry at those who've accepted it thus this happens

  • Comment removed

  • The ad was refused because for the majority of religionists the response to such an ad would be an impulse to violence toward anyone who would deny the existence of their god or impugn his nature--a visceral, almost uncontrollable impulse that underpins some of the most basic instincts for human gregarious behavior. They don't usually act upon these impulses, but it's fear, pure and simple, which causes enlightened individuals to tiptoe around the belief systems of their fellow citizens.

  • Religions should not be tax free. Their charity branches might deserve to be tax deductible (if financially separated from any religious branch), but I for one don't want to subsidise the building of churches, or mosques, etc. We are sadly lacking a bill of rights in Australia - like freedom of speech :(

  • What a waste of money $16000 surely we can use that better.

  • Why advertise atheism?

  • @jimmyjohnsonrocks123

    Why advertise religion?

  • @jimmyjohnsonrocks123 Religon advertise so why not non religous

  • What dipshits... makes me ashamed to be Australian.

  • 3:43 "We are not critisizing religion; we are saying celebrate reason." Well, unfortunately, I see the implication here that if atheists are reasonable, then religious people must be unreasonable, and that's were it could be seen as a critisism. I find the sign on the video's picture to be very good, though a number of theists find that offensive (somehow) as well.

  • This is essentially censorship. Best counter is to put bumper stickers.

  • I think they should have just continued "There's probably no god" one.

    -

It already has quite a lot of publicity, would have more impact.

  • If the religions people put "Believe in God, or burn in hell." that would be OK. Hmmm.

  • @m0nkey13 When people get to hell, what will they be wishing for? or saying? "I WISH, SOME ONE TOLD ME ABOUT JESUS! WHY DID THEY NOT TELL ME!!!! WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

what will be worse, being told about it, to avoid it, or going there, do the math.

  • @IwillhonorGod Sad you think that an all powerful god is right in resorting to evil threats so people will worship him. If he did exist this isn't the type of spiritual leader I would choose to follow. "Love me and worship me or you will burn in hell", yeah right, he's all yours.

  • @m0nkey13 you are quite mistaken in your thinking. He came to save, not to destroy. Many people will go there by there own choice. Because they have free will to reject wisdom and knowledge. God will honor your free will choice, smart or stupid, informed or uniformed, it is what makes you who you are.

  • @m0nkey13 He came to save. So ether get your sins payed for by Jesus, or pay with your own soul. Those are your options. God's ways are perfect, that means there will be perfect justice and He has to punish sin where ever it is found, but He wants to have mercy, but people have to accept that mercy. If they don't want it, He honors it.

  • @m0nkey13 The only thing that Jesus came to destroy, was the works of the devil. I am tired of talking about the works of the devil. It is like trying to explain the workings of a super computer to a 4 year old. They don't get. Neither do they have patience to listen. The works of the devil are these, to rob, to kill, and to destroy. The devil is 6,000 years old, and how old are you? He will only be beaten by God, and Him whom God equips to beat him.

  • @IwillhonorGod "The devil is 6,000 years old, and how old are you?

I got a hunch you think the world is 6,000 years old. I have a general rule not to debate anyone that is that far gone.

  • @m0nkey13 I am 26. And I have the Holy Spirit of God in me. Letting me know, great and unsearchable things. like the name of Jesus. That is the greatest name there is. God has equipped me, and is equipping me. I think there is a few more things that could be mentioned, but probably it would be far over your head. things like faith, a greatly misunderstood word.

  • @IwillhonorGod What's so great about the name Jesus? The guy selling burritos down the street has that name. You are right about this stuff being over my head, I guess I just don't get invisible people, talking snakes and vegetation, zombies and people flying up to amusement parks in the clouds.

  • @m0nkey13 you are like the people that were Teslas time. How could it be? it could not be! because we can not imagine it!

  • @IwillhonorGod I could imagine going out with Angelina Joline but that doesn't make it true, no matter how much faith I have. Hey you want an easy ticket to heaven, I can understand that, but it doesn't make it true. You are just giving yourself license to believe any crazy thing you want. Have fun with that.

  • @m0nkey13 I have not given myself free will God has done that. If I did not have free will to begin with though, how could I give it to my self? not being free? you don't make sense.

you might find what I say crazy because you don't understand it. or maybe you could not deal with the truth, because if you did know it, you would have to change your life, and that might be to much hassle for you.

I do have joy though in being informed, and having knowledge that is from God. It is good.

  • @IwillhonorGod You have free will because God says you do. That's rich. I understand you completely, you desperately want to believe in something so you do. Did you ever try to read a book beside the erroneous myth laden Bible? You believe the earth is 6,000 years old! This is the 21st century, get with it.

  • @m0nkey13 yes, I do and so do you. I want to know the truth, so I look into it, am impacted by it, and chose to live my life around it. It is rich in Truth, but you are poor in Truth.

your question is flawed and with assumptions, I have never read a erroneous myth laden bible. But I have read the bible.

But if you think there is an error, point it out. I am glad you can admit we are in the 21st century, good job!

it is 2010 AD which is ano domino which translates, in the year of our Lord.

  • @IwillhonorGod You can google errors in the Bible and have a day's worth of reading material but I will point out one obvious myth that you can peruse. The Gilgamesh, from Mesopotamia around 2,600 BC talks about the gods destroying the world with a great flood and commands Ut-Napishtim to build an ark with two of every creature. How, what a coincidence huh.

  • @m0nkey13 They go to a school in their state where their faculty go to the same churches. Do you really think they'd teach that Noah's flood was a borrowed story? Do you really think they want to teach the fact that their religion is based on borrowed religions over time?

  • @jessydaytime You're right, they will believe what they want to believe. Usually when I come across someone who thinks the world is 6,000 years old I consider them beyond hope. But just putting this out on an open forum will help to strip away the ignorance and evil of these religious teachings. Slowly change will come.

  • @m0nkey13 some people that don't know the meaning of life might ask? in the year of our Lord? yes, in the Year of our Lord Jesus Christ. 4,000 bc that is before Christ is right back to the beginning of time. you can't go back further than the beginning of time. I am aware of the times. These are times in which people stick there heads in the sand, like you have, as you have not read or comprehended the comment that is, or will be was, right under this one.

  • @IwillhonorGod Ummm ... fossils. Oh, and out of some morbid curiosity, exactly WHO proved evolution wrong?

  • @Kaalec Quite a few people have. I can explain it to you if you want. But it does not really matter who has done it. Or what tittles they have had, if they have had any, or all of them, but it just matters that it has been done.

  • @IwillhonorGod It has not been disproven by any scientific method and the ramblings of delusional religious fanatics don't count. So take your delusions elsewhere. This page is for people who put reason ahead of superstition.

  • @Kaalec you close your eyes and call your self scientific. And say that scientific is the measuring rod. but if you close your eyes and can`t see, how are you scientific, and how come you people that close your eyes don`t want to see where the evidence will lead you?

  • @IwillhonorGod There is no evidence. There can be no evidence. What you see is delusion. I prefer rationality. Now leave me alone and stop trying to convert me to superstition.

  • @IwillhonorGod

So God designed Tornadoes, Malaria, AIDS and all sorts of other horrible shit. And is that the same God who said Slavery is OK (and how much you can beat them), when you can rape people and inspired a book which contains more contradictions than a machine gun contains bullets.

Most rational people would disregard the concept of God, unless they are indoctrinated.

  • @Kaalec I feel bad for you people that are deceived.

  • @IwillhonorGod

Don't worry, I'm sure I'm not the only one who pities you as well.

  • @Kaalec Be alone if you want, but I am free to speak, and I will.

  • @Kaalec science considers all things, looks at ALL the evidence. It does not stick its head in the sand about any thing. so for you say this does not count, I would say, says who? not science that is for sure.

  • @m0nkey13 well, I got news for ya, if you go back more than 10,000 years, the moon would be so close to the earth, that every thing would flood 2 times perday, and then every thing would be dead, for the most part, and then we would not be here, because you can only safely drown once a day, and we are here. So who ever wants to say it is older than that, is ignorant or uniformed. But now you are informed. bible says 6,000 years old

  • @IwillhonorGod So you do think the earth is 6,000 years old. That would be funny if it wasn't so sad. I would direct you to a few books on the subject but you have your "holy" book of regurgitated myths to keep you in ignorance. (You know, I'm half thinking you are a staunch atheist pretending to be a Christian fundamentalist to pull my leg, are you?)

  • @m0nkey13 look at my name.

  • @m0nkey13 God does not resort to evil. But if you are going to use the word evil, I would say to you, what is evil? and what is good?

  • @m0nkey13 God is love. If you don't Love Love then what is there left to Love? Take away love and there is no thing good, nothing. Jesus is my God, you have admitted it, by your own lips.

  • @m0nkey13 you say He is not a good spiritual leader. Show me how you could do some thing better? or show me His fault. He gave His only son to save you and me, when we were destined for hell. What would you do? nothing? first you would have to find some one sinless, and there is no one on the earth. aka perfect.

  • @m0nkey13 How would you beat sin? conquer death? bind you enemies together and execute judgment on them? look for iniquity till there is no more to be found? record every thing that is said among men, through out all time? know the end from the beginning, and write it in advance, and let the people know, who have free will, and have it fulfilled regardless? Could you speak to the things that don't exist, and call them into the realm of existence?

you speak of the ways of some one you don't know

  • @m0nkey13 It is not evil to save some one.

  • @m0nkey13 It is not evil to love people that don't deserve it.

  • @m0nkey13 Justice is not evil. But sin is. so what will you give for your soul?

  • so the ones that dont belive in anything must mean you dont belive in yourself also. so when you go running to god and i tell you you will in the near future.you should run to your government instead, beacuse THEY WILL GUIDE YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

  • @danfine11 I'm sorry, but if a youtube comment takes more then 30 seconds for me to decipher then I don't bother.

  • @tomcokis your assumption is that God is in time. and That time always was. But time is a creation, by God. And God is not bound by time. you say what created God, assuming there was some thing before God. When God created time. See where you missed it?

  • @tomcokis the stars are burning. If there was no beginning, they would all be burned up, and heat would be equal every where, but it is not, clearly you can look up and see the sun is burning. I know burning things, burn out when there is nothing more to burn. So this is what happened. don't think so? give your proof or logic.

  • @IwillhonorGod

There is a difference between proving a theory plausible and proving a theory true.

What you just did is the former, as it could be true that god has always existed and that he/she created time and the universe, which has not always existed. The theory does not contradict itself - however neither does simply saying the universe itself has always existed. I could equally argue that their where 6 gods which all created each other. I see no reason to prove my assumption is wrong.

  • @tomcokis

    Sorry about the double post

  • @tomcokis well you assumption is wrong. we are an eternal age if time always existed, and this is not so. the stars are still burning.

  • @IwillhonorGod "not being bound by time" is a meaningless statement which can mean whatever you want it to... ie. sometimes he is subject to time, sometimes not. essentially, it appeals to a fairy-tale "metaphysical realm" where there are no rules and anything goes.

  • @secularmike I meant what I said, if you know the meaning of the words, you will know the meaning. It is pretty simple. If you got some endurance to dig for the truth, you should look up the day that Joshua prayed to win a battle, 701 bc, the planet mars, and the time we went from 360 days in a year, to 365. maybe also, resonant orbital frequencies. Gave you a lot of clues, please don't stick your head in the sand and do nothing.

  • @secularmike I am glad that you understand, not being bound by time means it does not limit you or bind you as I said. But He moves in and out of it as He wishes.

I speak of reality not fairy tales. and I know for some people it is harder to comprehend reality than fairy tales because they are simpler.

I don't know if you noticed, but there are rules here. Ones you can see, and ones you can not see. and there are some, that some people have not discovered yet.

  • @secularmike I don't know how you speak of a realm that you don't believe exists, and then say of it, it would like a story like this. How can you say it would, if you don't believe it exists?

  • @danfine11 ya governments sure guide people in the right direction. are you paying enough tax? or is there enough laws? or how many more licenses do they need to create? or permits? but why was the law made? or the purpose of the law?

  • Australia fail.

  • i don't think it means anything more than one or two cowardly christian idiots working at APN.

  • @secularmike no they were not cowards, they stood up, they did not stay sitting down. Cowards don't do some thing, they are afraid to, these people did do some thing.

  • @IwillhonorGod are you kidding? they "stood up against it" behind closed doors before it could be put to the public. Like i said, cowards. It takes guts to allow the freedom of expression of ALL ideas, because the truth does not fear investigation or criticism.

  • @secularmike I agree with you! Though oft times mankind's ego blinds him to believe that since something is possible we should delve into it & sort out the problems later. Though some doors can't be closed once opened. The intelligence of tomorrow should be tempered by the wisdom of the past else we just blunder, hiding behind lofty ideals that ALL things be allowed.

  • @secularmike so why then are you standing up against it? you say, people should be able to stand up say what they want to say, but here you are speaking as though they should be silenced, and with the rest fired.

  • @IwillhonorGod the irony of your statement is breathtaking... i am standing up against the "silencers" and by doing so, i am accused of being a silencer??? it's clear to any reasonable person here that you are simply an idiot.

  • @secularmike majority opinion means nothing to me. You think you will judge me by that? because it is your measuring stick? or what? your measuring stick fails, because the majority fail.

I don't know why you try to reason with me. Do you believe in reason? aka what is right and wrong? you obviously do not believe in God, so how can you say, there is good or bad, or reason even? Jesus said, what is good? and I would say to you, what is evil? and there fore what is reason? or the need for it?

  • @secularmike What they did was good. I know you don't understand it. Because you do not understand the existence of God. It was good because, atheism is a lie. So they silenced the lies, which could have been told. So it is good. I believe in good, and evil that it exists, it fits in with my thinking and view point, which I try to line up with the bible. Because the bible says, evil exists, and so do good things. but atheism says neither good nor evil exists. so be fore you call me wrong think..

  • @secularmike I am aware, that your name is your identity. You declare to every one, that you do not believe in God, or His ways. you ARE....with out God. So by your thinking, how is what you have said right? or you seem to think you have spoken some reasonable thing. So who says it is reasonable?...by your thinking?...you believe there is no God, but could you admit you don't know every thing? If you could consider that maybe, there is some proof for God, that you have not seen, it wouldbebetter

  • @IwillhonorGod The stood up without proper procedure and with no respect to the australian constitution and law, furthermore they did it silently - which fits my interpretation of the word coward.

  • @tomcokis If they were silent, then how did you hear about it?

  • @Jesusorder

Yes thats right, lets not think, lets not evaluate, lets not try to make a rational decision.

Because we know what that would lead to.

  • so u dont like freespeach! well if your G_D dose not like it, why dose your so called GD come down and do something, oh wait God is doing fck all, and even says in the bible-code that God dose not Exist. why are atheist act better and do less crimes than believers. theres more believers in jail 4 some crime than atheists in jail. u hold on to false hope.

from all the religious charitys, & still theres staving ppl in the world.

  • @RealityGameWorld you speak of freedom, but you don't know what it is. When you know the truth you will be free, it will set you free, but while you don't know the truth, or THE meaning of life, you are a slave. God has said what he is doing in the bible, and what he will be doing. what you say, your mentality God has even spoken about in the bible. He knows!

when you see some one that is weeping and praying, listen carfully, if that man knows Jesus, Jesus will listen! take note!
