so sad , wow what a strong woman she is... im 25 and no kids yet and she was 23 here with a 5 year old and she holds her composure so well. You can tell she is a good person. Hope she finds her true love...
I'm very involved in the racing community, and when this happened--I didn't know half of the people I know today... and out of that small few of people I knew in racing, one just-so-happened to be a former employee of Hendrick, and also a very close friend to both Ricky and Emily. It breaks my heart what happened, but happy that she found her happiness... whether it's with Brad or any other man.
I dont think any girl can see this and not cry too... Emily is so strong.. And I don't blv all these ppl saying she cant let go of her past, of course it will always be a part of her but she can totally move on!! She's so young still... And she's obviously ready to... i'm so rooting for her =)

I've thought from "Day 1" that Emily was the one for Brad. She's so much not like the other girls. You don't hear her putting the others girls down or wishing them bad. She's loves her daughter foremost and her interest comes first. That's a "Mother". She's a geniunely kind-hearted and sweet person. She has my vote. Her story is a very sad one. You can tell she really loved him and always will. I believe she can still love Brad with all her heart.

Im from Martinsville Va and i live 15 miles from the crash site, I can see from my home where the plane crashed on Bull Mountain, theres a beautiful memorial a 14 foot cross where it happened, Its not the first plane crash thats happened there. On march 15th 1944 a military plane crashed less than a mile from thehendrick motorsports plane crashed killing 11 service men. And a couple other small single engine planes has gone down over that area.
I'm from North Carolina, like Emily, and I was only 12 years old when the plane crash happened but I remember it so well. It was all over the local news and ESPN. It was so heartbreaking to hear about it then and now hearing it coming from Emily... wow! It definitely had me in tears.
