This 1970 live version of ‘Hand of Doom’ is what got me into Sabbath.

Bill Ward and Geezer Butler are just so on point. Dark funk at its finest.

Unfortunately within a few years, Ozzy’s stage craft would overtake the tone of the tunes, and his Nixonesque peace signs and punctuations of “Woo!” at the end of every four bars would undermine the music. This performance however stands as one of the greatest. Thank you for the upload.

@randypan71 I don't think Ozzy forgot the lyrics to "Hand of Doom", because the first version had different lyrics to that of the version featured on their second studio album. It's the same thing with "War Pigs"; the first version was entitled "Walpurgis" and had nothing to do with anti-war messages and the lyrics dealt with a black mass("Witches gather at black masses"). However, I DO think Ozzy forgot the first two lyrics from the last verse of the song "Black Sabbath" and kinda
