a masterclass !! i had only marvelled at Maniktai's bhavgeet's and natyageets so far.. but honestly now i think i should listen to her classical vocal a lot more!
classical music is the real original source.all the rest are derived from it.do you know why marathi natyageet is so very fantastic? marathi theatre was ruled by great classical singers.
@thuryina : oh thats true.. what i meant was that i did not know Maniktai could sing classical that well! Singing a natyageet and singing an hour long classical are completely different ballgames.. not every natyageet singer is as good in classical.. but many classical singers (even those who r not the top ones) can sing natyageet pretty well..
Great upload. She is one of my all time favourites.
