The music is a bit overpowering and the acoustics are obviously not good in that room. Mario is one of the best live singers out there, and he still sounds good in this clip.

Yeah, well a lot of live performances don't sound good. Especially in a room with bad acoustics. You can hear the echoes and the camera's microphone doesn't pick up sounds too well either.
