BYD... one of the best designs out there? Compare this car to a 2003 USDM Honda Accord and you'll notice that the side profile and the interior of the BYD is identical to the Honda. This car is so similar to the Accord, I'd venture to guess Honda sold the molds to the previous generation Accord to BYD. All BYD did was design a front and rear fascia. In fact, even the front and rear ends of the F6 are rip-offs (Lexus and Mercedes). This douchebag can't review a car... or speak English.

Lets talk about BYD,they have been making batteries for motorola cell phones and Apple iPods and all these famous electronics ever since the 90s, non of their products have been recalled, unlike their competitor -SONY, which had a massive recall of batteries few years ago.And their very own Iron battery technology,Dual-Mode Hybrid system has never been used on any other vehicles.you gotta ask your parents to extend your computer time so you can actuall research and not makin a fool outa yourself

Actually it`s true. Does Korea and Japan make planes? Advanced space technology? Paper? Gunpowder? Printing technology? The Compass? Kites? Supercomputers ranked top 5 in the world? It's own satellite navigation and space station (ready to be launched)? Just a tiny list of China's technologies developed by itself.

You could probably list a lot more, and so could I, but that'd just be a waste of time, since it will take way too long. Every country has its own strengths, and technology wise, China is definitely not behind Korea or Japan. Especially advanced technology.

I think in terms of overall car package, China (and BYD) has ways to go but the focus here really is the possibility an all electric car right now in production ! I didnt think this would be possible for at least another 10 years considering the hype now about hybrid cars. I think between a better car design and technology of an all electric car, it would be obvious which is more vital.

Compare the BYD F6 with older Chinese cars. They made an enormous Progress.
The first Chinese cars looked messed up, but this one looks very decent.
It will come as Plugin hybrid, with 100km (62miles) range (F6 DM).
German carmakers say Hybrid is crap, all the time.
If its save and gets 60 miles ev range I would buy chinese.
Cause I would never need gas again.
And if the US/EU car makers don't get it, it is their fault, not the Chinese one.
Stupid US/EU CEOs say who needs Hybrid.
