earth people dont always see UFOs because they show a high frequency and therfore they are invisible for us. In order for us to see them they would have to lower their frequency to that of earth people. thats what they are doing sometimes and so we can see them..

For footage showing ufo's through nightvison, just search youtube for: something along the lines of "ufo's through nightvison", you will get plenty of examples, although admittedly some footage taken by amateurs is clearly of planes or satellites, you need to look for footage where these objects suddenly change direction

I watch documentaries on TV about UFO's and Comercial and Military Pilots report seeing Unknown Ariel Phenomenon. The History Channel had a mini series on called "UFO's Then and Now". One would have to watch it. It's interesting.

Amateur astronomers do see ufo`s but most dont report them for the same reason pilots and most other people dont!! Fear of being laughed at and ridiculed. Sad but True:(

The great UFO investigator, Stanton Freidman, states: "Some UFOs are alien spacecraft -- underline the some about a hundred times; most are not -- I don't care about those." The vast, VAST majority of UFO reports are easily explainable as conventional air/spacecraft, and astronomical/meteorological phenomena. Those that remain, however small a percentage of the whole, are nevertheless far too numerous to simply cast aside without serious investigation. They (not the total) are the evidence.
And that's the kicker. Unexplained sightings are, well, unexplained. It doesn't mean they have to be alien spacecraft. It doesn't mean they have to be anything in particular. The fact of the matter is that we just don't know. Are they worth looking into further? Maybe. It's problematic that so many of these cases are reliant on eye witness testimony and low-quality photographs and videos.
And who is too say even that one percent is aliens? Rather jumping the gun in my opinion. A photograph is a 2D snapshot of a 3D scene. A lot of information is lost in the process.
Just because there isn't enough information to say precisely what it is doesn't automatically mean it's an alien spacecraft.
The evidence for alien visitation comes not from the simple fact of unexplainable UFO reports, but from what can be gleaned when the better reports are examined in detail. And the fact is, many of these reports quite clearly indicate technological objects with capabilities beyond those of extraterrestrial craft. There is nothing inherently paranormal about someone else having technology that you don't have, and using it. Basically: Gordon Cooper knows a technological object when he sees one.

he is only right about two things, the vast majority 95% of all ufo reports can be exlplained by natural means, hoaxes, mis identified objects etc..., the other is it is almost a statistical impossibility that we are the only life in the whole universe. One of the biggest things he got wrong is UFO does not equal aliens. For one thing the audience member didn't ask about alien life, he brought that up on his own. Second, UFO means an object that cannot be identified through conventional means.

The other failure of this man is his lack of criticism of NASA for not releasing images of the moon in real time. The LRO site has something like 70 images? The chinese release almost zero. The japanese and indians release just a few.

i dont know. i personally havent seen anything weird in the sky yet but a few of my family members have. of course there isnt any proof of that but why would they lie to me? they havent told anyone else besides me. but i have read a few of the ufo files britain released and they documented some really weird things. i gave up looking through the 124 pages of emails and forwarded emails from person to person.

saw a red smudge cloud move through the upper atmosphere in the summer of 94'.....what it was I have no idea....not man made....it was a clear night....freakin bizarre,,..moved very fast....maybe 50,000 ft. up....faster than a plane slower than a meteor...even paced....
I have watched the sky since childhood. I smoke cigars on my balcony. Can pick out aircraft, birds, etc at any distance in a heart-beat. THREE times I have seen things in the air that I can not explain. 1) in day-light and not far off, plus 2 witness 2) what looked like a satilite, until watching the TAPE the next day seeing IT zig zag near a star. 3) two lights in the sky flying together in my direction, they faded out one after the other before I could get my camera on them, plus 1 witness.

The objects came within a few feet of me. I did not see discernable entities of any kind, but these craft let's say left a considerable impression on a sceptic. I had another person with me and a second independant witness as well as this other town. The details are not important.

It's true, that most people do believe statistically it's possible, but where there thought processes fall short is in that line of what kind of alien, and on what evolutionary scale. The typical person in society would put themselves in a humanocentric universe - as opposed to heliocentric . If you look at man, perhaps only an average planet, an average lifespan, it's beings average -- the statistics you point out would indicate god-like beings exist.
Ive alway wondered why a mathematical extrapulations based on numerical values ot galaxies can be considered as evidence for belief in ets, yet the anthropic principle wich seem to demonstrate even higher amounts of probabilities in regard to evidence of design is ignored or gets swept under the rug, at least this guy is a little more honest than most. My only disagreement is that we havent found anything planet close to earth, were still searching for water much less life.

Videos that are clearly of flying craft not made by man, burnt/radioactive landing sites, craft tracked on radar that out-fly anything man has, craft seen by reliable witnesses from military observers - pilots - astronauts, implants removed from people, and starchild skull, and this guy hasn't seen any evidence. Phil Plait, maybe if amateur astronomers started changing the way the observe the skies there will be a massive increase in ufo sightings! That is to say, stop observing the skies in the visible spectrum and start concentrating on viewing the skies in the invisible spectums eg: infra-red... It is constantly being shown that these objects have the ability to stealth themselves which are being revealed through infra-red optics. NASA's own video footage confirms this stealthing ability...

Rendlesham forrest is about the best sighting because of its location and the calibur of the eye witnesses. Roswell is too long ago and too contaminated with crap to make serious evidence. They are few indeed who would deny that 99% of UFO reports may be easily explained as conventional phenomena. But even when these are accounted for, there remain literally millions of unexplained UFO reports from credible observers -- including astronomers. What's significant here is what he does not claim: he makes no claim to having ever investigated the UFO data scientifically. His implication seems to be that what little he does know about UFOs is derived exclusively from popular media.

The vast, VAST majority of UFO reports are easily explainable as conventional air/spacecraft, and astronomical/meteorological phenomena. Those that remain, however small a percentage of the whole, are nevertheless far too numerous to simply cast aside without serious investigation. They (not the total) are the evidence.

And that's the kicker. Unexplained sightings are, well, unexplained. It doesn't mean they have to be alien spacecraft. It doesn't mean they have to be anything in particular. The fact of the matter is that we just don't know. Are they worth looking into further? Maybe. It's problematic that so many of these cases are reliant on eye witness testimony and low-quality photographs and videos.

The evidence for alien visitation comes not from the simple fact of unexplainable UFO reports, but from what can be gleaned when the better reports are examined in detail. And the fact is, many of these reports quite clearly indicate technological objects with capabilities beyond those of extraterrestrial craft. There is nothing inherently paranormal about someone else having technology that you don't have, and using it. Basically: Gordon Cooper knows a technological object when he sees one.

he is only right about two things, the vast majority 95% of all ufo reports can be exlplained by natural means, hoaxes, mis identified objects etc..., the other is it is almost a statistical impossibility that we are the only life in the whole universe. One of the biggest things he got wrong is UFO does not equal aliens. For one thing the audience member didn't ask about alien life, he brought that up on his own. Second, UFO means an object that cannot be identified through conventional means.

i dont know. i personally havent seen anything weird in the sky yet but a few of my family members have. of course there isnt any proof of that but why would they lie to me? they havent told anyone else besides me. but i have read a few of the ufo files britain released and they documented some really weird things. i gave up looking through the 124 pages of emails and forwarded emails from person to person.

Yeah, but what I'm saying is that those wierd things very likely have a rather mundane explanation (well, terrestrial rather than mundane), but if sightings were that common and they were aliens, some astronomer would have a Nobel Prize on the way and he wouldn't keep quiet about it.

There are aliens out there, maybe even civilisations more advanced then ours but the space and time are so big that its highly unlikely that we will ever meet them. They are either too far away or they will exist in time or have existed. If we survive this century it will be a great accomplishment.

Pure nonsense. Expand on our technology - how much can we observe without leaving the solar system? We can monitor light years away. saw a red smudge cloud move through the upper atmosphere in the summer of 94'.....what it was I have no idea....not man made....it was a clear night....freakin bizarre,,..moved very fast....maybe 50,000 ft. up....faster than a plane slower than a meteor...even paced....

I have watched the sky since childhood. I smoke cigars on my balcony. Can pick out aircraft, birds, etc at any distance in a heart-beat. THREE times I have seen things in the air that I can not explain. 1) in day-light and not far off, plus 2 witness 2) what looked like a satilite, until watching the TAPE the next day seeing IT zig zag near a star. 3) two lights in the sky flying together in my direction, they faded out one after the other before I could get my camera on them, plus 1 witness.

Firstly, when I say it happened to me, something from outside our knowledge base, bumped it's way across a vast distance and showed up in another city, and mine. The objects came within a few feet of me. I did not see discernable entities of any kind, but these craft let's say left a considerable impression on a sceptic. I had another person with me and a second independant witness as well as this other town. The details are not important.

It's true, that most people do believe statistically it's possible, but where there thought processes fall short is in that line of what kind of alien, and on what evolutionary scale. The typical person in society would put themselves in a humanocentric universe - as opposed to heliocentric . If you look at man, perhaps only an average planet, an average lifespan, it's beings average -- the statistics you point out would indicate god-like beings exist.

Ive alway wondered why a mathematical extrapulations based on numerical values ot galaxies can be considered as evidence for belief in ets, yet the anthropic principle wich seem to demonstrate even higher amounts of probabilities in regard to evidence of design is ignored or gets swept under the rug, at least this guy is a little more honest than most. My only disagreement is that we havent found anything planet close to earth, were still searching for water much less life.
