This episode shattered my heart into a million pieces, since Ingrid is kind of the ideal woman I dream of... she had so many values and a pure mind. After watching the episode for the first time, I went into an ongoing sadness for more than a week, I didn't know I was so fond of INGRID.
Oh I've only just realised that Pup slobbers all over Brian's mouth after being bitten - that's really dangerous!!! But I guess he'd only just got infected so the virus wuldn't yet be in the dog's saliva.. thats a close one!!!
@purplrosette definitely... it takes some time for the virus to reach the central nervous system and infect the salivary glands which causes the victim to drool. the partial paralysis prevents rabid victims from swallowing, that's why they drool. Once the virus has taken over the central nervous system and the victimes goes rampant, than rabies is extremely contagious and dangerous.
Oh gosh, I've been avoiding this episode for a couple of weeks. Poor Ingrid!!!!! Why'd they have to do that to her and Matthew? They were so cute and already went through so much and they were so close to getting married!!!!!!! And Matthew worked so hard for the two of them! ><
" dr. Mike will fix it...she can fix anything...'' oh, poor Brian, he is just a child and still don't know that there are things even God can't fix :( that's one of the saddest ep. of the hole series for sure!
Haha! I also thought they weren't talking about an orchard at first and was like "the sooner you get started... Haven't you already started?" LOL!
I read on the Internet that she dies in season 4 and Ive been waiting for this episode ever since. Every time she'd say "we've got our whole lives ahead of us" I'd frown :(
so rabies is still pretty much a death sentence right? even with all the advances of technology today. I read that like out of everyone ever to get rabies, one person lived...but is still in a coma or something....the put the people in a deep coma and give em hypothermia...how it kills the rabies I haven't a clue
@pika23 At that time rabies would have been 100% fatal. Today unless you get anti-rabies shots before you are symptomatic it's 99.9% fatal, only six people have ever survived, and they survived by being put into an induced coma for over a month, this limits the brain damage and gives the immune system time to fight the disease.

Brian must have a horny radar or something because he ALWAYS interrupts at the most sexy times!!!
If I were Dr. Mike and Sully, I would so the same thing when he gets married lol. And then just stand there awkwardly like he does

This WAS the saddest episode! Earlier I found episode 5 of season 1, when she first appeared, and thought, "oh no! She's doomed!"
